An LSB-Based Blind Fragile Watermarking Algorithm
  Abstract

A blind fragile watermarking algorithm based on LSB is proposed in this paper. The watermark is made up of the CRC-32 value of an original image, a meaningful binary image and its CRC-32 value. By embedding the watermark into LSB of these specific pixels determined by m-sequence, some key problems such as information hiding, blind watermark extraction and tamper detection are solved efficiently. The experimental result indicates that this algorithm can meet the digital archives’ copyright protection and tamper detection needs, and it is also practical.
