Research on Improved Control Method of Electromagnetic Clutch in the Tufted Carpet Jacquard System
  Abstract

Focusing on the high poitr consumption and slow dynamic response of the electromagnetic clutch in the tufted carpet jacquard system, this paper proposes an improved control method. Firstly, the numerical relationship betiten electromagnetic force, gap size and current are analyzed through the finite element method, and the relationship surface is described. Then the math model of the electromagnetic clutch is constructed and the circuit current variation is solved. At last, the improved control method with PWM is verified by experiment. The results show that the method is effective and reliable.
