The SIR Analysis Theory Based on ABCD Matrix and Application for the Filter Design

SIR (Stepped impedance resonator) for its features in microwave design, it is paid more and more attention. The harmonic and fundamental frequency can control through the impedance ratios of the SIR structure. In theory, SIR can control the locations of any sub-harmonics, which for the miniaturization of microwave devices and the efficiency of spectrum is very useful. In this paper, a method based on ABCD matrix of 2-ports network is proposed to analyze SIR.
