A Rapid and Efficient Synthesis of Azo Aromatic Diacyl Chlorides from Nitro Aromatic Acids
  Abstract

A rapid and efficient method has been developed for the synthesis of azo aromatic diacyl chlorides from nitro aromatic acids by using dimethyl benzene as solvent. The products are obtained in good yields with high purity.
