A series of novel bis-indolylmethanes containing 1,2,3-triazolyl have been synthesized from the reaction of indoles with 4-formyl-1,2,3-triazole catalyzed by Brønsted acidic ionic liquid [PyNCH2CO2H][HSO4] under solvent-free conditions. The satisfactory results were obtained with excellent yields and short reaction time in the experimental procedure.
