Study on the Intelligent Electric Power Monitor Based on ARM
  Abstract

To improve the electric power quality has become an important issue in building an intelligent electric power grid. In this paper, the ARM chip and the fuzzy controlling method were adopted to develop and study an intelligent monitor. The design of the hardware and software was implemented. The experiment’s results demonstrate that the monitor can improve the precision of the collected electric data and the power distribution efficiency and the reliability. It can be used in the ship power systems, industry, daily life and so on.
