Paper Title:
The Propagation Properties of the Vector Dark Soliton
  Abstract

The variational method has been used to study the interaction between the two polarized components of the vector dark soliton in a birefringent fibre. The interaction energy and force between the two components of the soliton have been derived, and then the propagation properties have been discussed in detail.
