Paper Title:
Innovative Design and Analysis on Bicycle Driving Mechanism
  Abstract

The traditional sprocket wheel mechanism is substituted by the planar four-bar linkages in the transmission system of the bycycle, based on the lever. The results indicate that the novel design has a creative structure with higher energy transferring efficiency by particular method. A novel design and concept are explored for improving of the driving technique of bicycle. Due to its small motion range, the new mechanism can be applied in both the traditional bycycle special for the handicapped and in the design of the vehicles, yacht for the sightseeing.
