A Measuring Technology for Retroreflective Materials of Horizontal Coatings
  Abstract

Now retroreflective materials are used widely in traffic field. Their quality influences road construction significantly. Effective evaluating of it is becoming a very important work. There are two methods chiefly: measurement set and handle instrument. Measurement set depends on the basic optical transducer. It has higher precision and lower error by comparing with handle instrument. Retroreflective materials as retroreflecive sheeting and raised pavement markers can be tested by choosing the two methods in accordance with different measuring conditions. But as for retroreflective materials of horizontal coatings, using handle instrument is common. So we make a detailed research on measurement set of them. By performing verification experiment, this measurement set is stable and the results are satisfied.
