Study of Dynamic Characteristic of Friendship Avenue Bridge
  Abstract

Friendship Avenue bridge was a concrete-filled steel tube arch bridge (CFSTAB). As a new type of bridge, CFSTAB was widely constructed and rapid developed in China. Because of its merits, CFSTAB was constructed much more in China. With the span increasing rapidly, and the bridge gradually becoming thin, the long span CFSTAB should be paid more attention for its performance of aseismic, wind resistance and vehicle-bridge vibration.This article described the basic method of dynamic analysis for CFSTAB. And the Friendship Avenue CFSTAB was taken as an example, such as the choice of element types, conducted boundary condition and applying load were described in process of modeling FEM for it, and of which the dynamic characteristics was analyzed by finite element software ANSYS.
