Synthesis and Characterization of 1-Acetyl-2-Naphthol-4, 4’-Diaminodiphenylsulfone Cd (II) Complex Material
  Abstract

A new luminescent materials, 1-acetyl-2-naphthol-4, 4’-diaminodiphenylsulfone Cd (II) has been prepared by the reaction of 1-acetyb-2-naphthol-4, 4’-diaminodiphenylsulfone (L) with cadmium nitrate in methanol-water (v:v=5:1)solution. The infrared spectrum and luminescent properties of Cd (II) complex material are investigated. The results indicate that the fluorescence is in the blue region, and the fluorescence was enhanced after adding the organic solvent DMSO to the Cd (II) complex material.
