Study on On-Line Torque Telemeter System for Large Motor in Active Oilfield Service
  Abstract

According to the present situation of the torque measurement for large motor in active oilfield (the rotation speed of the electrical motor amount to 2980 r/min, clamping space is limit and measured shaft is not allowed to be detached when being measured), on-line test method of large motor in active oilfield service was studied, and torque measuring scheme based on telemeter strain style was put forward, furthermore the transmitter and receiver of torque telemeter system was selected and clamping apparatus was designed. The result of experiment shows that the method can complete on-line torque test for large motor without demounting the motor, the test result is reliable and error rate below five percent.
