Paper Title:
New Countryside Construction and Sustainable Rural Settlement Development in China
  Abstract

New countryside construction in China is a kind of macroeconomic development strategy aiming at sustainable rural settlement development. More attentions should be paid to caring for farmers’ future livelihoods in the process of sustainable rural settlement development. Based on the analyses and the complexity of China’s rural problems, the authors argue that new countryside construction in China will be an arduous task and a long road.
