This paper adopts the method combining AHP and gray comprehensive evaluation to evaluate the operation performance of four largest domestic airlines and ten airlines that are famous around the world. Through the evaluation, it can be concluded that, compared with the excellent foreign airlines, the operation performance of the four largest domestic airlines is comparatively lagged behind. Among all the evaluated items, the repayment capability of the four largest domestic airlines is the worst which shall draw great attention of the enterprise leadership and other stakeholders
