Virtual Design and Interactive Demonstration of the Product Based on Sketchup

Abstract:

In order to design industrial products efficiently, the Google's free software--SketchUp was used for the design and research of the product which can transform from a single chair to double person bench, and the SketchyPhysics plug-in was used to complete the dynamic showing process of the design product. The design cycle is short and it is easy to adjust and operate. SketchUp and its plug-ins can be competence for the design of industrial product and presentation.
