Effect of Nd Addition on a Mg-Zn-Bi Magnesium Alloy
  Abstract

The effect of the 1-4wt% Nd addition on the microstructure , hardness and anticorrosion performance of Mg-Zn-Bi alloy was studied . The experimental results showed that both the hardness anticorrosion performance of the Mg-Zn-Bi magnesium alloy increased with increase of the Nd addition.
