Abstract: This paper examines the damage of buildings with different structures in 5.12 Wenchuan Earthquake to summarize the features of stress distribution and aseismatic performance and then presents the problems of the masonry building, frame and part of the frame structural buildings in the earthquake. The purpose is to put forward the series of technical strategies of anti-seismic design, which include the overall optimization, stiffness deployment and node strengthening economically and scientifically.

Abstract: As a well-known city of oil in China, Daqing City is unique in natural conditions with variety of soils. Among them, a large part belongs to the saline—alkaline land, which reduces the ability of filed sound as well as causes diversity of eco-environment issues. In this paper, the existing technologies to reclaim the saline-alkaline land are summarized to analyze its application context. Finally combining with the nature research and natural status of saline-alkaline components in Daqing, the integrated various ways to improve the cultivated land are put forward.

Abstract: Ice and snow cleaning on the road has been the disturbing issue in northern cities. A series of problems resulting from ice and snow also have caused loss to people’s lives and national economy, such as traffic congestion and frequent accidents. Moreover the resource waste exits due to irrational development and utilization. In this paper based on the recycle and utilization system of urban street rainwater, heating cable assemblies are added and the collection, melting, chemical and biological treatment and reuse of ice and snow are finally achieved through remote control, providing the advanced research ideas for the reclamation and utilization of urban rainwater and snow and water cycle.

Abstract: Rainwater is a kind of natural resource and how to treat and utilize effectively has been the tough problem in urban rainwater recycling. In this paper based on the characteristics of street rainwater, a kind of rainwater treatment system is put forward aiming at the rainfall features in northern China. Firstly the collected rainwater will be filtered to remove the organic pollutants with macromolecules and then is discharged into the landscape pond. To deal with the seasonal change of rainwater in winter cities, the variable treatment methods of double subsurface constructed system are applied to achieve the continuous operation.

Abstract: Based on the analysis of the current new rural construction in China and relationship of origin and resource of city and countryside, the tridimensional development of rural residences are proposed to improve the land use efficiency in response to the demand for garden leisure and tourism from city levels in the urbanization process from the prospect of urban and rural complementation and resource optimization. It will thereby convert the industrial structure in the countryside, develop the local eco tourism and relevant service industries and increase the income and employment opportunities of farmers, which can change the quality of rural life and establish the tridimensional development models of new rural residence in China under the mechanism of city and countryside complementation and interaction fundamentally.

Abstract: Based on the analysis of earthquake prevention and disaster prevention plan both at home and abroad, this paper has probed into the feasibility of emergency system of city disaster prevention with the public facilities of residential areas as the core. Finally the proper structure, implementation policies and relevant technical supporting conditions of emergency facilities network in residential areas are proposed depending on the general plan and structure of public resource utilization models in residential areas

Abstract: Based on the cases of public places in foreign and domestic cities, the paper probes into the essential content of some public place from its external form to propose the evaluating standards for suitability. By this, the paper concludes that complexity, diversity and inclusiveness are three key factors and easy accessibility, comfortable physical environment, completed facilities, sufficient greens and well organized space are all beneficial aspects in the transformation from merely aesthetics concern to practical arrangements in urban design. Finally, the paper points out that the existing ecological tendency will create a long-lasting city image which will give new explanation about suitability of the public place.

Abstract: Based on the planning patterns of spatial planning both at home and abroad, this paper has analyzed the importance of maintaining the integrity with the central city and its methods in the spatial planning of marginal areas in Harbin. Additionally to keep the spatial structure of city marginal areas and the integrity with the downtown are also regarded as the basic premise of enhancing vitality and sustainable development ability in the new areas.

Abstract: The collection and utilization of urban rainwater is currently a substantial measure of ecological construction in the city which covers a variety of technologies used and reflected in the multi-dimensional overlap with the urban space. By analyzing the current trends in related technology in the world, the paper probes the organic integration of rainwater collected system with urban spatial structure and elements in a view of overall optimization. Then the paper proposes to set up the coupled design pattern for urban rainwater recycling system in a way of district division, facility grading and rainwater classification according to the characteristics of land use mode and urban planning frame.

Abstract: As the joint connecting urban and rural areas, the special ways are needed in the spatial urban planning & design of the urban marginal areas. Based on the cases of environmental planning in Harbin’s marginal area under urban expansion background, the paper discusses the interdependent and symbiotic relationship between city and natural environment, and explores the effective modes finding, changing and utilizing the value elements of suburban environment. Finally the paper puts forwards spatial planning & design strategies oriented in the discovery and utilization of environmental value for urban marginal area according to the location characteristics of the urban marginal areas and value embodiment of natural environmental conditions, such as ecological priority, advantages intensification and images construction.
