Abstract: The effects of joints with clearance between Crankshaft and cycloidal wheel on needle pendulum gear drive in 2K-V reducer are considered by Virtual Prototyping. A comparative analysis reveals angular velocity, acceleration change and the loading conditions of the input and output components. Joggle force between Crankshaft and cycloidal wheel are also analysized. It is a convenient way for stiffness design of 2K-V reducer.

Abstract: The machining difficulty of cycloid disk has limited the extensive application of Cycloidal-pin gear planetary mechanism. The conventional machining methods and devices are a main reason. A new method is provided through a 3D software simulation and CNC numerical machining to assure the machining precision of cycloid disk and reduce the machining difficulty. The detail comparisons with old methods are analysized. The modeling and path stimulation are expressed. The NC programs are output. The method can largely reduce the production difficulty of cycloid disk and make high precise cycloidal transmission more accessible.

Abstract: Based on the simulation principles of 3d software, a virtual grinding system is developed by means of united customized development on UG and applied to simulating CNC tool grinding machine manufacturing planar inserts with various linetypes. Tool-path data is read from the file and the process of NC grinding is simulated by the virtual system. Entity modelings of the inserts are obtained by Boolean operation in virtual environment, and the basis is presented for analyzing accuracy of the models.As testing efficiency of NC code and reliability of high speed grinding are improved.
