Abstract: According to the property of contact problem, the calculation formula of contact stress of cross-roller slewing bearing is derived under the action of eccentric axial load. The finite element model of slewing bearing is analyzed in ANSYS, and then the finite element analysis software is used to analyze the contact stress. In this way, the distribution condition of contact stress between roller and rings is obtained. By comparing the finite element analysis results with theoretical analysis results, the correctness of finite element analysis is certified, which provides a guide for the design and optimization of slewing bearing.

Abstract: In this paper, permanent magnetic levitation technique is studied in the research of small-sized wind-light complementary power generation system. Radial and axial permanent magnetic levitation technology has been studied, and the over design is done based on these two kinds of technologies, which make the wind power generation get breeze starting. It lays a solid foundation to achieve the breeze power generation. The overall design of the important parts of the power generation system has also been put forward in this paper.

Abstract: Because of that the permanent magnetic bearing (PMB) has the advantage of no wear, low cost and simple structure, the industrial design concept of PMB has been put forward in this paper. Radial and axial permanent magnetic levitation technology has been studied, and the aforementioned design is done based on these two kinds of technologies. During the experiments on the mechanical characteristics of PMBs, the capacity and stiffness of the bearings are researched.

Abstract: According to the “Ultimate strength design methods” of rolling bearing and from the whole strength of ring, the paper has analyzed the relationship between ring deformation and strength. It is shown that the local deformation of ring is the main factors affecting the collar strength. Programmed Matlab procedures, the minimum limit of ring thickness of the driving wheel bearing is studied, and a reasonable explanation of outer-ring fracture is given.

Abstract: According to the working requirement of large-scale cross roller slewing bearing used in special propeller, an optimal design model which includes objective function, optimization variables and constraints is established, and uses genetic toolbox of the Matlab software to solve the mathematical model. An example shows that the bearing’s life is improved significantly by the optimization. It indicates that the optimization design has some guidance significance in the design process of the slewing bearing.
