Abstract: As a mechanical component, sensor can detect spatial information. Sensor technology has been widely used in national defense, aerospace, industrial inspection and automated production areas and so on. However, the sensor calibration device cannot meet the demand of the development of the sensor. In this paper, a multi-functional force loading device, which is of good technical performance, reliable operation, wide measurement range and simple measurement method, and a six-dimensional force sensor calibration method are described.

Abstract: A new type of upper and lower cover support structure piezoelectric sensor based on PVDF films is designed in terms of piezoelectric effect. Mechanics and mathematical models are established according to the structure of the sensor. The natural frequency of the sensor is derived finally. The natural frequency of the sensor is verified to meet the requirements of dynamic measurements by using theoretical calculations and simulations. The effectiveness of the calculating method is indicated.

Abstract: An improved genetic algorithm based on NSGA-Ⅱnon-dominated sorting is proposed to solve flexible job-shop scheduling problem. Makespan and machine maximum load are chosen as objective function to establish multi-objective optimization model. Real encoding and plug-in decoding are used to transform chromosomes and scheduling schemes. NSGA-Ⅱnon-dominated sorting with elite reserved strategy is designed to improve search efficiency, and different strategies for selection, cross and mutation are adopted. The feasibility and effectiveness of the algorithm are verified by simulation and results from comparison with other algorithms.

Abstract: This paper proposes an effective genetic algorithm for the job-shop scheduling problem (JSP) to minimize makespan time. An effective chromosome representation based on real coding is used to conveniently represent a solution of the JSP, and different strategies for selection, crossover and mutation are adopted. Simulation experimental results have shown that the scheduling model using the algorithm can allocate jobs efficiently and effectively.

Abstract: This paper describes structural optimization design of parallel piezoelectric six-component force sensor. Structure, measuring principle, and load sharing principle are introduced. The influences on load sharing effect of each component of sensor’s structure are researched. Main parameters to influence load sharing effect are obtained, and analyzed by finite element method (FEM). It is clear that the analysis results of FEM are well correspond with the theoretical analysis results. Experiment is designed to verify analysis results. The trend is in consistent with FEM analysis.The paper provides reference basis for design of parallel piezoelectric six-component force sensor.

Abstract: In this paper, the pre-tightening force on piezoelectric multi-dimensional force sensor is researched. Structure of multi-dimensional force sensor and piezoelectric quartz crystals are introduced and analyzed. The relationship between pre-tightening force and measuring range of force sensor is researched. Structural model of multi-dimensional force sensor is built and analyzed by FEM. Horizontal linearity in horizontal direction with different preloads is obtained. In order to verify FEM analysis, a reduced prototype of piezoelectric multi-dimensional force sensor is fabricated. Verification test is designed and made. The research will provide certain reference value for development of piezoelectric multi-dimensional force sensor.
