Abstract: This new dry magnetic separator has a special structure. It has many magnetic roll which are staggered like a stairsteps. It can finish the task of separating different minerals with only this one machine. And also it can make the different magnetic material which are in the same mineral separate at the same time. The permanent magnet system is made of large fan-shaped magnet. The magnet pole N and S are staggered and has perfect performance of magnetic separation. And the magnetic force is made full use by going-up dynamic separation. And also it gives an analysis of stress in the magnetic field. It also shows that its separation idex is better, the economic benefits are obvious, and it has broader prospects of popularization and application.

Abstract: To further understand the magnetic separation washability of pulverized coal, washability curve and mathematical model were done based on internal relations of curves. The model included non-magnetic substance accumulated curve, ash characteristic curve and magnetic susceptibility curve mathematical model. The theoretical separation indicators and the non-magnetic product yield among the adjacent sub-selections susceptibility can be found and determined from these. We also can make a quantitative assessment of the magnetic separation washability and predict the actual results. Results showed that simulation results and experiments results can tally well according to choose reasonable parameters. Evaluation criteria of magnetic separation washability of pulverized coal has yet to make a further investigation. These indicate as a powerful tool of studying magnetic separation washability of pulverized coal can not only be qualitative reasonably but also investigate quantitatively. Abstract: Selecting a single piece of typical rectangular open planar magnet,with its axial magnetization, to build a finite element model. Based on ANSYS software, the article used NdFeB45 material properties, giving 100×100×10mm to fit the relationship of three-dimensional size. In the air zone as 10 times as model size, it adopted a static simulation analysis of the effect on relationship between axial magnetic distance and magnetic field strength. The magnetic field contours as simulation results, after the Origin software fitting process, obtained an equation is: ; Comparing with the formula: , which reflected the basic characteristics of permanent magnetic field, and with the numerical results by Jing-tian LI using equivalent magnetic charge method, they all appeared: the magnetic field strength exponentially decrease along with the magnetic distance increases, the magnetic field non-uniformity coefficient is of 4.628% deviation, the fitting correlation coefficient R is 0.99924; As a result of the numerical verification results, it also visually response to the magnetic field parameters of open permanent magnet.

Abstract: Magnetic separation is broadly applied to the recycling processing of industrial solid waste, conventional permanent magnetic roll can't separate various magnetic materials from waste residue at the same time. Through theoretical analysis and numerical simulation, this paper matched fan-shaped magnetic steel as disc and developed "Interval alternative process of false magnet", this solved the problem of the magnet assembly. On this basis, a multi-roll permanent magnetic separator was manufactured, by connecting multiple magnetic in series. This equipment can not only get different magnetic products, but also can complete roughing and cleaning assignments, and eased gradation requirements of repairing material significantly. An experiment of choose iron from zinc volatilization kiln furnace slag for a zinc smelter, iron recovery and grade is 76.33% and 62.31%, respectively. This separation roller can also be used in ore, nonmetalliferous ore sorting and powder materials purification, etc.
