Abstract: The stain of Fusarium sp. used in 4-chlorophenol (4-CP) degradation was isolated in our laboratory. The effects of pH, Cu2+ concentration, carbon source on 4-CP degradation rate by Fusarium sp. were investigated. The kinetic equation of 4-CP biodegradation was discussed. It was concluded that Fusarium sp. could grow with 4-CP as the sole carbon and energy source. 4-CP concentration of 50mg/L in the Cu2+ concentration of 3mg/L could be degraded completely. The capacity of 4-CP degradation was effectively enhanced by the addiction of phenol. Phenol concentration of 200 mg/L in the pH 7 and the Cu2+ concentration of 3 mg/L could be degraded completely. Cu2+ at high concentration might reduce the biodegradation rate of 4-CP. The kinetic equation of 4-CP biodegradation could well accord with the zero order equation for 4-CP as the sole carbon source with Cu2+ coexistence by Fusarium sp..

Abstract: The effects of the supply voltage, water flow rate, concentration of inlet SO2 and Fe2+ in liquid phase on the desulfurization efficiency were investigated by corona discharge with liquid phase on the condition of DC discharge and pulse discharge. The experimental results showed that the desulfurization efficiency increased with the increasing of the supply voltage, water flow rate, and concentration of Fe2+. However, the desulfurization efficiency was nearly unchanged with the increasing of the initial concentration of SO2. The desulfurization efficiency in pulse discharge was better than that of the DC discharge on the same condition, and the highest desulfurization efficiency could be more than 99%.

Abstract: In this study, wood plastic composites (WPC) material were fabricated with wood flour and polyvinyl chloride (PVC). To improve the interfacial compatibility between the wood flour and the PVC, silane method (SM) and tianate method(TM) were used to treat the wood flour, maleic anhydride copolymerized PVC with dicumyl peroxide. The effects of wood flour content, surface treatment on the mechanical properties of WPC materials were investigated. Fracture surfaces of tests specimens were analysis by SEM. Test results indicate that WPC material with wood flour treated by SM or TM together with PVC copolymerized showed good mechanical properties.
