Abstract: In real operation in the thermal power, the ash fields project often cannot be finished following the progress schedule, and this always impact on project running smoothly. In this article some representative delay factors were obtained through the survey and their relationship between themselves were analyzed using PCA method in the SPSS software and their importance of resolving this issue were determined. What is more important, according to this article we can guide our practice and solve our progress delay. It provides us a commanding reference to improve the progress of thermal power plants.

Abstract: With the continuous development of energy projects and the actual needs of the project, project portfolio management technique is known by people more and more. However, current databases of energy project management system are too different. This paper studies actual demand of energy project database, taking portfolio management theory as the basic, and use database modeling technology to build database’s conceptual data model, logical data model and physics data model based on the portfolio of energy project management. These models can be very good instruction of energy database design and construction, and will support energy project portfolio management system design to some guidance.

Abstract: Reviewed the research status of portfolio decision-making at home and abroad; On the background of project portfolio management theory, a large number of the current model of portfolio decision-making were researched. From the perspective of project managers, Taking work breakdown structure(WBS) as the basis and combining with portfolio management systems and 0-1 programming model , expanded 0-1 programming project quantitative portfolio model was proposed. This model will provide a reference for the research of project quantitative portfolio decision-making.
