Abstract: The effect of activated water on the growth of epidermal cells of newborn mice is studied by cell culture in vitro. To investigate the influence of activated water on the growth of cells, parameters of water are measured. Then, biological mechanism about how the water effects on cells is discussed. It shows that activated water has the promoter action to growth of cells comparing with non-activated water by detecting optical density (OD) at 570 nm with the MTT colorimetry. Statistically, the probability P, less than 0.01, is obvious. We believe that water cluster has become smaller and small water clusters are beneficial for transporting nutrients.

Abstract: Material industry is a basic industry in our national economy. In order to develop our new material industry, the independent innovation capability should be improved and the compound innovation talents of science and technology should be trained. The popularization education of the intellectual property should be brought into the quality education system of the college students. This is of important significance for developing the strategic new industry in the field of new material. Combined the training practice on the innovation talents of science and technology in the industries of the new energy and environment functional materials, the education mode of the intellectual property for the compound innovation talents of science and technology in the functional material industry was studied.

Abstract: Knowledge is material foundation of innovation, and awareness is spiritual power and soul of innovation. The cultivation of innovative ability is not only to pass on knowledge by suitable approaches and correct teaching methods, but also to stimulate students’ enthusiasm of seeking knowledge and discover their wisdom potential. In the teaching process, in order to cultivate students’ unique innovative ability, creating suitable atmosphere for innovating and developing students’ sense of social responsibility and scientific dauntless spirit are needed. Furthermore, with the social demand and longing for success as the force, mobilizing the students’ subjective initiative fully is important. In the innovative practice, discovering students’ mental function, stimulating their imagination and innovative awareness should also be taken into account.

Abstract: The equivalent thermal resistance model of sepiolite mineral nanofibers has been presented in this paper to predict the thermal insulation properties of fibrous mineral fine powders. The model was based on the correlation between thermal conduction and gas & solid conduction in the fibrous system. According to the analysis about the process of heat transfer in sepiolite nanofibers, the total thermal conduction can be described as the synergism of the solid thermal conduction and the gaseous thermal conduction. From the equivalent thermal resistance model of fibrous materials in the accumulative condition, it can be seen that the thermal conduction of fibrous mineral fine powders can be evaluated by the relationship between bulk density and thermal conduction of sepiolite nanofibers. Comparing the theoretical values with experimental data obtained from thermal conduction instrument, it was found that the theoretical values corresponded well with experimental data.

Abstract: In this text, the effective thermal conductivity of different shape filler particles was investigated. The thermal insulation coatings were prepared using hollow glass beads and sepiolite as thermal insulation fillers and the thermal insulation effect was evaluated. The results show that the optimum ratio of sepiolite and hollow glass beads is 6:1, and the temperature difference of upper box and lower box is up to 18 °C. The main reason for this phenomenon is that the thermal conduction chain is difficult to form in the direction of heat flow, thus leading to the increase of thermal resistance and decrease of thermal conductivity.

Abstract: The chemical composition of tourmaline crystal structure was investigated by using Diamond software and the relationship between the far infrared emissivity and the parameters of composition, structure and particle size of tourmaline materials was analyzed, and then four effective factors on the infrared emissivity were determined. By analyzing the effect of the variables on the emissivity, an effective function of the single variable on the emissivity was set up. Considering the weight coefficient of each factor, a calculation model on the far infrared emissivity of tourmaline was built up. Using this theoretical model, the method to improve the far infrared emission was discussed.

Abstract: Influence of micro-environmental factors in animal breeding room on healthy growth of animal was discussed, such as harmful chemical gas, drinking water, microorganism, temperature, humidity and noise. Main products and technologies used in improving animal breeding micro-environment were summarized from four aspects including deodorization, activating drinking water, adding feed additives, using temperature and humidity control devices. At last, the development trends of micro-environment control were proposed in large-scale animal breeding.

Abstract: A series of rare earth perovskite-type oxides La0.9Sr0.1CoO3, La0.9Sr0.1MnO3 and La0.9Sr0.1Co0.5Mn0.5O3 were prepared by sol-gel method and characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), specific surface analysis (BET), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) techniques. The results showed that for La0.9Sr0.1Co0.5Mn0.5O3 sample, Sr2+ and Mn3+ ions partly replaced La3+ and Co3+ ions and entered perovskite crystal lattice, and finally a perfect crystal structure of perovskite was formed. Moreover, these powders presented sphericity granules with particle size of about 20nm and satisfactory pore structure. With the doping of Sr2+ ions in a certain range, the coexisting system of Mn3+- Mn4+ and Co3+- Co4+ as well as the concentration of oxygen vacancies were increased, thus leading to the higher catalytic activity of the prepared catalysts.

Abstract: Elbaite powders were roasted for 2 h at different temperatures from 300 to 950°C, and the effect on saturation vapor pressure of water was studied. The tourmaline’s phase structure and infrared radiation property were investigated by X-ray diffraction and Fourier transform infrared spectrometry, and the influence mechanism of tourmaline on the saturated vapor pressure of water was discussed. The results showed that the saturation vapor pressure of treated water increased 6.55, 5.04, 1.19 and 5.14% after tourmaline was roasted at 300°C , 350°C, 650°C and 950°C, respectively. The pressure decreased 3.50% after roasted at 800°C, suggesting that the infrared radiation property of tourmaline was an important factor influencing the saturated vapor pressure of water.
