Abstract: The treatment of iron tailings has been a global issue, which has bought serious impact on the environment, it was considered to be a potential threat to human lives. In the present paper, the development situation of iron tailings utilization in China is investigated, the problems existed is analyzed and suggestions are provided, which are hoped to be valuable in the future research and the development of functional materials and products.

Abstract: The influence of polar crystalline tourmaline on the structure and physical and chemical property of water in direct action and indirect action was researched by the solid/liquid independent device to isolate tourmaline and water. The results showed that far-infrared rays from tourmaline could react with water molecules, and the hydrogen bonds were weakened through resonance; The far-infrared spectra of water treated by tourmaline in the solid/liquid independent device was compared with that by direct contaction. The far-infrared of tourmaline played a more important role in changing hodrogen bonds than electric field and negative ions of water. Surface tension of water in the solid/liquid independent device was decreased after the treatment of tourmaline, and the decreased degree went up with the rise of temperature; the dissolved oxygen of water was increased by 7.8%, the conductivity 9.8% and the evaporation rate 10.4%.

Abstract: The spontaneous polarization property of mineral tourmaline was evaluated by the conductivity method of alkaline solution. The conductivity changing rate of the alkaline solution (k) was adopted as the evaluation index. In this paper, the deionized water and alkaline solution were treated by mineral tourmaline powders, respectively. Their conductivity values were tested by a Digital Conductivity Meter. On this basis, the conductivity difference was achieved. The results showed that, the changing rate k increased as the spontaneous polarization property. When 0<k2, the spontaneous polarization was weak; when 2<k10, the spontaneous polarization was stronger; when k >10, the spontaneous polarization was strongest.Key words: Tourmaline, Spontaneous polarization, Alkaline solution, Conductivity, Evaluation

Abstract: Nowadays, automobile industry is under the pressure of market requirements of lightweight and energy-efficient. In order to follow the trend, automobile manufacturers have made their unremitting efforts in diverse aspects of materials research and development, designing and manufacturing. This thesis has explored the hot aspect, mechanical aspect, microscopic structure and the latest status of technical domain of hot stamping. The analysis is made on the main technology of hot stamping forming and its working process, and the application of hot stamping technology on automobile and advantages of this technology are expounded, respectively. This thesis has made a systematic introduction on the core technology of hot stamping and its pros and cons through testing the coating hot stamping steel plates, and pointed out the current status of its application as well as its future prospect.

Abstract: In order to analyze inner electrical field distributions of EHV converter transformers windings end at valve side, a simulation circuit model of oil-paper combination insulations is established in this paper. Then ANSYS10.0 finite element method (FEM) is used to calculate the electrical field distributions under four different excited volatges, containing DC voltage, AC voltage, superimposed DC-AC voltage and polarity reversal (PR) voltage respectively. Simulation results show that when only under DC voltage, resistive electrical field distributions highly convergen on insulating cardboard whose resistivity is correspondingly big. While only under AC voltage, capactive electrical filed distributions highly centeralize on insulating oil whose dielectic capacity is correspondingly small. And under superimposed DC-AC voltage, its unformity lies in DC voltage or AC voltage function alone. While under transient polarity reversal volatge, its distrbutions present like tooth and electrical strength of insulating oil is bigger than that of insulating paper.

Abstract: By fitting calculation of functional relationship between charge quantity and temperature on condition that powders were shielded, a device was proposed to measure spontaneous polarity of powders, and samples of typical tourmaline were measured. The results showed when tourmaline powders of different origins were heated to 80, minimum value of spontaneous polarization strength was 3.204×10-4C/m2, and maximum value was 1.53×10-3C/m2. The conclusion was in accord with results got from crystal structure analysis, and repeatability r was 1.726×10-6C/m2 with 95% confidence probability.

Abstract: The test apparatus of infrared emissivity used in powders industry was researched by controlling the temperature accurately and collecting the signals of surface temperature of two standard samples and a test sample. The tourmaline samples from ten mines had been tested by the new test apparatus. Compared with the results from FTIR, it was shown that average value of relative error was 0.378% and repeatability error was less than 0.6% after correcting by the coefficient kc = 0.958.

Abstract: Activated water is beneficial to healthcare due to its changes of physicochemical properties compared to ordinary water. Some related researches on activated water are reviewed in this paper. Take magnetized water, mineral and ceramic activated water and electrolyzed water for examples, activating materials and technologies are briefly introduced. Then, mechanism of activation devices and activated water are summarized and discussed. Finally, mechanism of activated water on biological growth is analyzed by comparing their different properties.

Abstract: The chemical composition of tourmaline crystal structure was investigated by using Diamond software and the relationship between the far infrared emissivity and the parameters of composition, structure and particle size of tourmaline materials was analyzed, and then four effective factors on the infrared emissivity were determined. By analyzing the effect of the variables on the emissivity, an effective function of the single variable on the emissivity was set up. Considering the weight coefficient of each factor, a calculation model on the far infrared emissivity of tourmaline was built up. Using this theoretical model, the method to improve the far infrared emission was discussed.
