Abstract: Modal analysis of chisel subsoiling shovel, arrow subsoiling shovel and double-wings subsoiling shovel were made, which was based on the analysis of the vibration characteristics of subsoiler-soil self-excited vibration system and finite element analysis software ANSYS13.0 was used. Natural frequency and the mode of vibration were determined. Then self-excited vibration conditions of the subsoiling system were studied. All these analysis results could provide theoretical references for the self-excited vibration subsoiling system optimization and design.

Abstract: The automation level of grafting robot is relatively low because it still needs manual grading and identification of seedlings. Machine vision technology is a rapid, nondestructive and real-time inspection technology which is used in many industries. Its speed and accuracy can meet the requirements of sorting and inspection and help improve grafting automation level. It has been used successfully in the identification of quality, outward-feature properties and growth point of seedlings. This paper reviews the recent application of machine vision in grading and identification of seedlings in detail.

Abstract: The effect of compound modification and various kinds of heat treatment on microstructure and mechanical properties of the low chromium white cast iron was studied.The results showed that,after modification,the carbide morphology in cast iron has been greatly improved;the annealed modified cast iron is suitable for machining;both martensitic quenching and austempering can cause the hardness and the impact toughness of modified cast iron increase greatly.

Abstract: The effect of austenitizing temperature, heating time and tempering temperature on hardness and impact toughness of low chromium white cast iron was studied by orthogonal test. The optical microstructure was used to analyze the reasons of changes on mechanical properties. The results showed that the hardness increases at beginning and then decreases with the increase of each parameter, high impact toughness can be obtained at high tempering temperature and high austenitizing temperature, the descending order of influence on hardness and impact toughness is austenitizing temperature, heating time, tempering temperature.

Abstract: Soil has elastic-plastic deformation under vibrating working condition. And the acting force between the soil and the vibrating subsoiler parts is of complication. In order to study the effect of the material acting force to the vibrating subsoiler system kinetics features, this paper establishes the vibrating subsoiler system mechanics model considering material acting force. It adopts numerical integral to answer and analyze this model and verify the correctness of the model through comparison of the simulation data and experimental data. The analysis shows that when the amplitude is between 0.01m-0.02m and the vibrating frequency is between 14Hz-16Hz, the vibrating subsoiler can have a comparatively good performance.

Abstract: For the vibrating subsoiler, considering the material acting force, the system is simplified as a single degree of freedom weight-spring-damp model which will simulate the vibrating subsoiler system based on Automatic Dynamic Analysis of Mechanical System (ADAMS). The analysis result shows that the vibrating subsoiler can not perform well under conditions of high vibration frequency and advance speed.

Abstract: Transplanting of plug seedling is one of the most important operations during vegetable and flower production. Due to the higher labor intensity and lower efficiency for the operation, it is difficult to enlarge production scale for vegetables and flowers. Although transplanting of plug seedling is now common method, all operations are still manually conducted in China. To enlarge productivity for increasing food supply, it has become an urgent task to achieve automation of plug seedling transplanting for Chinese horticulture industry. This paper deals with the automatic transplanter for plug seedling, which is significant to promote development of production automation of seedling nursing and transplanting in China. Then, the simple, practical automatic transplanter for plug seedling, including manipulator, conveyor system for plug tray and flowerpots, overall structure and PLC control system was designed. Finally, Prototype was manufactured and performance tests were conducted. Results showed that the automatic transplanter had reliable transplanting performance.
