Abstract: Poly (butylene succinate) (PBS) was mixed with Poly (lactic acid) (PLA) through Haake Reomix, a new type of biodegradable materials can be obtained. With the increasing addition of PBS and the raise of the solution basicity, the degradation rate of blends increase sharply. The GPC analysis can approve the reduction of molecular weight in the degradation process of PLA/PBS blends.

Abstract: Poly (butylene succinate) (PBS) was mixed with Poly (lactic acid) (PLA) in the melt state. The PLA/PBS blends with different constitution were produced. The samples were buried in laterite. Samples were dug out of soil after the burial for 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60 days, respectively. The weight loss and molecular weight of the sample were tested. The analysis showed that the nearly exponential decrease in average molecular weight as a function of degradation time. The PLA and PBS have the similar degradation behavior in the soil.

The solid polymer produced in condensate liquid of reecycle gas is characterized. The formative factors of polymer are analysed.Some referential basises are provided for plants long-periodic safety production.

Abstract: CdSe nanocrystals were prepared within a template of mesoporous silica (MS) spheres via chemical reaction. The photocurrent of CdSe/MS composite under UV illumination was distinctly higher than that in the dark. The horseradish peroxidase (HRP) was immobilized on the surface of the composite particles. The HRP/CdSe/MS composite film toward the reduction of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) had stronger response signal under UV illumination than that in the dark. The electrons photo-generated from CdSe and the electrons provided by electrode can occur simultaneously to catalyze the reduction of H2O2. The holes photo-generated by CdSe are trapped at the interface between CdSe and pore walls of MS film. The results show that CdSe/MS composite film has good photoelectric properties and potential application on immobilization of horseradish peroxidase for hydrogen peroxide monitoring.

Abstract: The Avrami equation was used in the study of the isothermal crystallization kinetics of Polyvinyl pyrrolidone/Polyamide 6 Blends. The addition of PVP can hinder the PA6 crystallization process, increase the crystallization half-time and make the crystallization rate decrease. The molecular entanglements and intermolecular hydrogen bonds between PA6 and PVP chains exert some influence also.

Abstract: 3-10%(wt) Polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP) was mixed with PA6 through the twin-screw extruder, a new type of high hygroscopic nylon resins can be obtained. With the increasing addition of PVP the crystalline state of PA6 changes from γ to α phase. The intermolecular hydrogen bond exists between PVP and PA6. The FTIR and WAXD analysis can approve the existence of the intermolecular hydrogen bond and the change of the PA6 crystalline state.
