Abstract: The main elements can be recovered for mineral processing in a mineral containing titanium of Baoding area were Ti, Fe and V, and the elements in the main gangue minerals were Si and Al. Gravity concentration, gravity concentration-high intensity magnetic separation and gravity concentration-flotation tests were performed on the ore sample respectively. The results showed that, in the test of shaking table, when the grinding fineness was -0.074mm 93%, the productivity of concentrate can reach 32.24%; when grinding fineness was -0.074mm 93%, after gravity concentration-magnetic separation, 30.25% of concentrate productivity can be attained; when the grinding fineness was -0.074mm 85%, after gravity concentration-flotation, the productivity of concentrate was 3.31%. Maybe it's the condition of the tests wasn't controlled well, especially adjusting pH value in the flotation stage, it's hard to control, so the results were not very good.

Abstract: In order to improve the separating index of ilmenite to separate the concentrate by high intensity magnetic separation, the Heishan iron ore in Chengde did some work. Separate the sulfide ore out by flotation under the conditions of concentration by weight in feed 32%, consumption of xanthate 200g/t and 2# oil 40g/t. Use sulfate to adjust the pH of the low sulphur product of flotation, the mixture of EM351-2 and EM351-3 as foaming agent, after one roughinging and four fold concentrating, got the final titanium concentrate, the grade of which is 47.23%, and the recovery is 58.29%. During the procedure of roughing, the consumption of the reagent as follows: sulfate 2kg/t, EM351-3 1kg/t, EM351-2 900g/t. The consumption of sulfate during fourfold concentrating is 1kg/t. The index is more stable when the concentration in feed is 18%~26% during flotation. The index is stable during the continuous 26 work time for the process under this reagent system. The screen analysis of the flotation concentrate indicates that this reagent system has a better effect on the flotation of +0.074mm particles, and a bad effect on the flotation of-0.045mm particles.

Abstract: Grade of fluorite in this test is 30.95%,containing CaCO3 0.86%. On the base of much experiment research, such as grinding fineness test, pH test, agent dosage test and so on, the optimum conditions were: grinding fineness for first stage is -0.074mm 65%,pH=9, sodium silicate 0.8 kg/t and oleic acid 0.7 kg/t . The result of tests showed that the grade of CaF2 concentrate, recovery and productivity are 95.38%, 63.42% and31.20% by adopting a circuit of one rough flotation and seven concentrating with grinding fineness -0.043mm90.3%.

Abstract: Along with the continuously rose of the iron ore price and the Chinese iron ore quantity demanded, Iron ore self-sufficient rate has become the bottleneck of Chinese steel industry development. In order to increase Chinese ore self-sufficiency rate, the paper study the xinjiang region low grade specularite. When the crude ore grade is 35%, the mass percent of reducing agent pulverized coal is 12%, roasting temperature is 800°C,roasting time is 50 min, milling fineness is 90% passing 0.074 mm and the magnetic induction is 84kA/m, after a low intensity magnetic separation, the iron concentrate can be got whose yield is 42.83%, grade is 62.04% and recovery is 79.26%.

Abstract: Depressants used in flotation can inhibit floatable gangue minerals to improve concentrate grade. In this paper, four different commonly used depressants were adopted in order to investigate the effect of depressants on chalcopyrite index and to investigate their inhibition effects on chalcopyrite flotation.The experimental results indicate that, in the flotation system of natural pH of pulp, mixed reagent of xanthate and aerofloat, sodium hexametaphosphate has the best effect on chalcopyrite separation, and the dosage range is 1.5-1.5kg/t, it can improve the concentrate recovery as well as concentrate grade. In the range of 0.5-2.5kg/t, sodium silicate can improve the concentrate grade and concentrate recovery, but the amplitude is small. CMC can improve the concentrate grade while lower the concentrate recovery. The effects of dextrin on concentrate grade and concentrate recovery is not so obvious.

Abstract: Dongguashan copper ore is one of a complex copper sulphide ores containing various metal minerals in Tong ling area. In this paper, in order to simplify the complexity of traditional lime process, the process of Cu-S bulk flotation-regrinding-separation is discussed and exploited. A good quality of Cu concentrate and S concentrate are obtained respectively after Cu-S separation by using calcium hypochlorite as depressant. A good separation results are derived through this process, and high efficiency of calcium hypochlorite used as depressant and feasibility of the process are confirmed.

Abstract: Nano calcium carbonate (CaCO3) of good evenness and narrow particle size range were synthesized by controlling conditions and adding agents to improve the evenness and reduce particle surface strength. It was shown that the evenness degree was improved by all additives used, and the particle size was decreased only by additive B. The organic additive A had some influence on the evenness degree and the particle size, but they couldn’t be improved at the same time. The inorganic additive C and D could improve the evenness degree, but couldn’t make the particle size better. The inorganic additive B played a important role in the evenness degree and the particle size, and the nanometer CaCO3 whose size was 19.6nm and the evenness degree was 3.4 could be gained at 0.6 wt.% calcium hydroxide (Ca(OH)2) using B as additive.

Abstract: The grade of MgO of crude improves to 63.22% from 61.33% using brucite in liaoning province as the material by winnowing. The surface of Mg(OH)2 flame retardant is treated with four kinds of coupling agent,they are silane172,silane151,titanate NT-105 and composite coupling agent(silane172 being 66.7%,and zinc stearate being 33.3%)on the condition of usage of coupling agent being 0.5%、1.0%、1.5% and 2.0%,activating time being 3、6、9 and 12min,and the specific surface area,tensile strength,rate of absorbing water and oxygen index are measurated.The results showed the silane172 at the dosage of ≤1.5%, activating time 6-9min is feasible.Quality of its products can be comparable with synthetic products. Natural brucite is the ideal material for flame-retardant products.

Abstract: In laboratory, there polymorphs’ nano-calcium carbonates were synthesized through adding on different crystal controlling agents by the bath-type carburizing reagent in the given conditions. When selecting addition J as the crystal controlling agent, lamellar nano-calcium carbonate products with average size about 150×110×15 nm were synthesized. When selecting annexing agent I as the crystal controlling agent, rod nano-calcium carbonates were synthesized, which average grain diameter was 90 nm, average length was 944 nm, and aspect ratio was 10.5. When selecting annexing agent G as the crystal controlling agent, chain nano-calcium carbonate with average grain size 20~30nm, aspect ratio 10~15nm were synthesized.
