Abstract: Taking the path of sustainable development in Shandong Province, it is inevitable to make “low carbon” transformation and structure adjustment of economy. The development of low-carbon economy in Shandong Province has attained exacting success which provides the base for the “eco-province” construction. Solar energy, nuclear energy could obtain vigorously development as renewable energy sources, and every city has taken developing low-carbon economy as new economic growth points. Although the three main industries continue optimization and upgrading with support of low-carbon, there are still exist some problems, such as irrational industrial structure, low level of technology, simple energy structure and so on. Therefore, it is necessary for Shandong Province to build long-term mechanism of develop low-carbon, readjust industrial structure, develop low-carbon technologies, and research new energy continuously to solve the bottlenecks in restricting “low-carbon economy” development.

Abstract: The electric power industry is the energy basic industry of the country, which serves the development of the national economy, but also consumes a lot of energy, and causes heavy pollution to the ecological environment. This paper made investigation on low-carbon development status of the power industry in Shandong Province, identify the problems, and pertinently bring forward countermeasures of low-carbon development of electric power industry in Shandong Province.

Abstract: The rapid development of the transportation industry in Shandong Province provides a fundamental guarantee for the economic and social development, but also brings a lot of energy consumption and pollutant emissions, directly affecting the construction of ecological Shandong. By investigating low-carbon development of the transportation industry in Shandong Province, this article analyzes the status of low-carbon development and identifies the problems: transportation structure is irrational; low-carbon development lacks corporate body; regulation of transportation energy saving needs to be strengthened. Put forward countermeasures for low-carbon development of the transportation in Shandong Province: speed up the construction of the integrated transport system; optimize transport organization; improve regulation of transportation energy; give full play to the leading role of science and technology to a low-carbon economy; strengthen low-carbon economic subject consciousness of transportation enterprises; develop public low carbon transport consciousness.

Abstract: Petrochemical industry is an industry of high energy consumption and high carbon emission. It’s the bounden duty for this industry to select the low carbon economy development path. This paper analyzes the development restricting factors of the present petrochemical industry. Furthermore, this paper expounds the development implementation path of the new petrochemical industry from the following five aspects, such as to optimize the low carbon energy structure, achieve the implementation of ecological construction both in industry and enterprises, increase the technical support and management support for the low carbon transition of petrochemical industry, strengthen the Omni directional penetration depth of the low-carbon awareness and so on.

Abstract: This paper explores the development present situation and the restricting factors of the iron and steel industry, taking Shandong Province as an example. This paper expounds the implementation path of the new development of Shandong’s iron and steel industry from the following six aspects, such as to adjust industrial structure, optimize the industrial layout, improve products structure, develop low carbon technology, develop the green energy and technology, and improve the industry value chain and so on.

Abstract: With the rapid development of China's economy, a series of social problems such as energy crisis and global warming gradually have become prominent. In the consumption structure of our country, coal has the leading status. Therefore, achieving low-carbonation development of the coal enterprises is important for the whole society to realize sustainable development. On the basis of elaboration on low- carbon economy meanings and basic elements, this article analyzes the development models, like cleaner production, comprehensive utilization of resources, diversified development, industrial clusters, and low-carbon coal cities and hopes all of this would be useful for reference to China's coal enterprises.
