Abstract: Theory of the safety ergonomics and reliability analysis was applied in this paper. Influences of port handling machinery and workers on the handling reliability were studied. For the general cargo handling process, mathematical model was put forward. According to the model, calculations were carried out to increase the working efficiency of the port handling machinery. At same time, combined with port investigation and factors affecting the operation of workers, measures were proposed to improve the safe and efficient production of the port.

Abstract: Injection molded part with micro structures is extensively used as a heatsink, which will provide bright prospects for application. In this present study, analytical models with micro pins, micro holes and micro grooves were specially designed and built. Molding quality and transient heat transfer performance of these parts were investigated via the finite element methods. As research objective, warpage and residual thermal stress of each target under identical molding conditions was compared to evaluate the product quality, and heat dissipation performance of micro structures was applied to assess the applicability of plastic products used as heatsinks. Study results revealed that the part with micro grooves had better molding quality and heat dissipation effectiveness than others.

Abstract: A planetary gear pump (PGP) was introduced to the differential injection molding. The system is matched with a vertical injection molding machine (IMM). The PGP is integrated in the stationary mold and is fixed between the stationary platen and the movable mold of IMM. The dynamic mesh technology in the software packages Fluent was applied to investigate the melt behavior. Abstract: Differential injection molding is one of the key technologies for micro-manufacture. The mechanism of melt pump based on the differential injection molding is presented. The differential injection molding system is added into the traditional injection machines. Melt is plasticized by the plastication system, then after being split, pressurized and measured by the differential system, it enters the cavity to realize the function of multiple micro injection molding machines. Moldex 3D software is used to simulate the filling history of the micro-structure via differential injection molding technology. The product's filling volume under different processing parameters is compared, which provides theoretical basis for the optimization of the molding parameters in differential injection molding technology.

Abstract: In this article, the structure of the differential pump is introduced, which is the core part of the differential injection system. The micro-gear with a shaft collar is simulated as it is an important micro-part and has great potential application in mechanical transmission. The Moldex 3D simulation software is used to investigate effects of processing parameters on the micro-gear such as melt temperature, mold temperature, injection time and packing time etc. By comparing the micro-gear's warpage under different processing parameters, it can be concluded that melt temperature has a greater impact on the molding quality than mold temperature. In addition, the effects of injection time and packing time on the micro-gear's molding quality are also investigated.

Abstract: A new concept of microinjection molding module was designed and presented. The module was designed as a multi microinjection module, which is matched with a vertical injection molding machine (IMM) and can be applied to usual IMMs. A planetary gear pump was integrated in this module to complete the multi microinjection molding(MμIMM)。The module is fixed between the stationary platen and the mold of IMM. The plasticizing unit of the IMM provides the melt and initial pressure for the multi microinjection molding module. With this module, a usual IMM could be upgraded to a precise microinjection machine and has the capability of precise metering for the microinjection molding.

Abstract: The plastic injection molding is widely used for the manufacturing of complicated-shaped and high value-added products. The plastic injection molding machine is the most important equipment for the industry. This paper focuses on the mold separation (MS) of the injection molding machines. The characteristics of the MS of injection molding machine with different clamping units are systemically analyzed, the five-hinge joint-double toggle clamping unit and the direct hydraulic pressure clamping unit included. The study points out there are several typical differences between the different clamping units. Meanwhile, it shows there is a linear relation between the MS value and the product weight, and explains why the MS signal can be used to control the injection molding process.
