Abstract: In order to reduce time and cost in mechanical product design wizards development work, the Mechanical Product Design Wizard Rapid Development Platform (MPDW-RDP) was established. According to the Independence Axiom, the system architecture of the MPDW-RDP was obtained, then, the MPDW-RDP had been implemented by taking advantage of existing mature software and components in accordance with the Information Axiom, at last, application case indicated that this system can rapidly develop different kinds of mechanical product design wizard.

Abstract: A CAD model cannot be reused efficiently because of its incomplete design information. To solve this problem, a CAD model reuse method based on the IDH (Integrate Design History) is presented. IDH is defined as full record of modeling process and related knowledge, an extended CAD model is built as the carrier of the IDH. Based on the extended CAD model, a model reuse method is proposed by taking advantage of product design guide technology. Finally, a prototype system is developed and verifies the efficiency and feasibility of this method.

Abstract: In order to solve the problem of duration predicting in the project with poor information, small sample and uncertainty, a method based on grey system theory is put forward to predicting the duration of the coupled task set. A grey duration prediction model GM(1,1) is built, and the accuracy of the model is tested through residual, degree of incidence and posterior variance. Finally, the feasibility of the prediction model is verified by a practical application case.

Abstract: Based on the analysis of data relationship between product structure and project plan of R&D projects, this paper proposes the mapping rules of product structure nodes and project task nodes, and establishes the mapping of the relationship between components and tasks. In this paper project plan is decomposed on the basis of product structure, so the workload of task decomposition of project manager is reduced, the efficiency is improved, and the accuracy and completeness of the task is ensured.

Abstract: In this paper, we propose a hybrid decision model using case-based reasoning augmented the Gaussian and k nearest neighbor methods for aided design camshaft in engine. The hybrid Gaussian k-NN (HGKNN) CBR scheme is designed to compute memberships between cam profile and engine parameters, which provides a more flexible and practical mechanism for reusing the decision knowledge. These methods were implemented in the database application and expert system following the examples of Cam Profile. To get the designed case, the retrieved results were compared and analyzed by HGKNN and k-NN algorithm in the CBR database. It proves the validity of HGKNN and CBR design system is used successfully in engine design process.

Abstract: In this paper, we propose a new technique of case-base maintenance. The weighted association-based case reduction technique (WACRT) can reduce the size of the case-base in order to enhance the efficiency while maintaining or even improving the accuracy of the CBR. The weighted association rules do not use the property “all subsets of a frequent item set are frequent”. It is pruned by the “k-support bound”. The experiments on the engine design system have shown superior generalization accuracy for CBR with WACRT as well as a greater solving efficiency.

Abstract: An improved multi-group self-adaptive evolutionary programming Algorithm is used to get adapt attribute weight for CBR system. Firstly, this paper analyses the adaptability function based on reference case base REF and testing case base TEST, develops a novel Bi-group self-adaptive evolutionary programming that overcome the lack of conventional evolutionary programming. In this Novel algorithm, evolution of Cauchy operator and Gauss operator are parallel performed with different mutation strategies, and the Gauss operator owns the ability of self-adaptation according to the variation of adaptability function. Information is exchanged when sub-groups are reorganized. Experiment results prove the validity of self-adaptive Algorithm and CBR design system is used successfully in engine design process.

Abstract: To improve the collaboration efficiency of the networked manufacturing coalition for automobile die enterprise, the networked manufacturing system framework is put forward. Then the information model, resource model and organization structure model are studied one of the other. The information model contains three layers lengthways and the product lifecycle is divided into 5 stages on landscape; for the resource model, the resource is classified and described, the relationship between resource entities is analyzed. The participants of each member enterprise are grouped according to the task relevance in organization structure model, and collaborative discussion center is constructed for the participants to communicate. On the basis, the workflow model is then discussed, the activity in business process is described with UML, then the UML activity diagram is transformed to Petri net graph, thus the workflow model can be diagnosed and analyzed.
