Abstract: Powder was fed to improving or increasing rubber performance in rubber production. Due to the variety of powder, different feeding quantity and material liquidity and high precision needed, often choose screw conveyor to convey and weigh all kinds of powder. This paper mainly introduce the structure of the screw conveyor for rubber production, analyses the impact of the main parameters of screw conveyor on its performance and conveying capacity. A method of chosen and confirmed the mainly design parameters of screw conveyor was illustrated, and introduced the helical blade and screw shaft of the screw conveyor processing method combining with actual production.

Abstract: VIC mixer was a new type mixing equipment, and both had internal mixer's and open mixer's advantages. Meshing clearance of VIC mixer can be changed in the mixing process at any time by the eccentric bearing. The meshing clearance can be changed at different stages of the mixing process to adjust the different mixing formula and process. Through the experiments we had found that VIC mixer have a good mixing temperature control, cooling efficiency and low peak value in power when the meshing clearance is small. When the meshing clearance is large there is a high feeding speed, energy utilization efficiency and dispersion.

Abstract: The physical, mathematical and finite element model of the extruding part of mixing-extruding machine was established to carry on the finite element simulation of the extrusion part flow field. Results showed that the double cone screw have better mixing and feeding properties than single screw.

Abstract: The performances of tires which are affected by improving the building way for semisteel radial tire have been researched. The testing results show that there is a great effect on the tire’s uniformity and dynamic balance because the pressing ways of semi-steel radial tire bis two steps with two rollers lamination make the variation of tread size greater. When the lamination process of two steps with two rollers was changed into three steps with three rollers, the tire’s uniformity and the dynamic balance have been improved effectively, which significantly reduces the possibility of the change when the tread size becomes larger during the lamination of tread.
