Abstract: License plate holds the very small proportion in the whole vehicle image, and the color, size and location for License plate is also uncertain. Fast and accurate localization for license plate is a difficult problem in the license plate recognition process. This paper presents a geometry license plate localization method based on machine vision. This method has very good compatibility to the gradation linear and nonlinear change, moreover support criterion and angle change. Experimental results indicate that the localization deviation does not surpass 1.0pixel and the angular deviation does not surpass 1.0 degrees under same level test condition. Robustness of this localization is basic consistent with Cognex Visionpro. The license plate localization can adapt the low signal-to-noise ratio, the low contrast gradient, the fuzzy situations and so on., which is also simple, practical and is better than traditional zone location and edge localization method.

Abstract: In order to make design for board to achieve the miniaturization, multi-purpose, recycling; and to pursue the energy conservation, saving materials, little waste, the closed circuit in the technology, it is necessary to carry on the research of green design for board. Based on analyzing requirement of the market adequately, green design for multi-purpose dovetail groove board is presented. The research primary including: Firstly, choice of material for green design of board; Secondly, design for disassembly of board; Thirdly, design for recycling & recovering of board; finally, applications of board. The research has certain theory value and the practice significance.

Abstract: Localization of barcode is the key technology for barcode recognition. This paper presents an automatic localization algorithm for multiple barcodes in complex background. The proposed algorithm includes dividing the image into a plurality of tiles, and scanning each of the tiles so as to detect a pattern of strips associated with the barcode in at least one of the tiles. The pattern of strips is analyzed so as to determine the candidate region. Then the effective affine region of barcode is computed by the method of Blob analysis and the barcode is only contained in it. Experimental results indicate that the proposed approach has certain accuracy, the efficiency and robustness.
