Abstract: Jinchuan nickel-copper flash smelting slag is rich in iron, nickel, cobalt and copper, and JISCO converter slag is rich in iron, manganese and high CaO, etc., the two kind slags were blended, and then smelted into low-alloy iron containing nickel, cobalt, copper and manganese with smelting reduction method, which is a new comprehensive utilization methods for the Double slag. The thermodynamic calculation results of the equilibrium concentration of Fe, Cu and Ni in low-alloy iron obtained by smelting reduction under experimental condition are in good agreement with experimental results. Iron reduction rate of Fe, Cu and Ni can be elevated to above 90% by smelting reduction, thus the comprehensive utilization of valuable metals can come true.

Abstract: The research to increase injecting amount into blast furnace was carried out on the basis of the actual production of Longmen Steel Co., Ltd.. This paper starts with the study of pulverized coal properties of the blast furnace, combined with the experimental researches such as explosibility study of pulverized coal, the study of the effect of adding additives on combustion properties of Pulverized Coal, the factors affecting the amount of injection coal of Blast Furnace in Longmen Steel Co., Ltd. were identified and the specific measures to improve coal ratio and reduce the coke ratio were put forward by theoretical analysis and experimental research as well as practical production.

Abstract: By study the development situation of blast furnace smelting in china and the blast furnace operation system and technology, combined with production conditions of JISC BF, based on a large number of the production data, the comparison analysis test on JISC BF operation system and technology was did. Through continuously optimization and practice, the relatively suitable operation system and technology of JISC BF at present was explored, which could reduce the coke ratio into furnace while increasing the coal injection ratio and making great economic effect.

Abstract: Vanadium is an important alloying elements and structural materials, a large part of vanadium was extracted from stone coal. The resources of stone coal are very rich in China. It's an important development direction to extract vanadium in stone coal. The stone coal in Shaanxi Province Shanyang County has been studied. Vanadium was extracted by HDEHP in this experiment, which is in the sulfuric acid solution leaching system. The paper researched the influence of concentration of di(2-ethylhexyl) phosphate (HDEHP), pH, the extraction time, the extraction stages, the phase ratio for the extraction ratio of vanadium, the extraction capacity of organic phase and the extraction isotherm. The best technical parameters: 20% di(2-ethylhexyl) phosphate (HDEHP), TBP 5%, sulfonated kerosene 75%(volume concentration), pH=2.5, phase ratio Vo:Va=1:5 and the extraction time is 5 min, extraction of 5 stages level. The extraction ratio of vanadium is 98.57% from the solution of 2.9658 mg/ml vanadium in that technical parameter. The best stripping of vanadium process parameters: the stripping agent for 1 mol/l of sulfuric acid, phase ratio Vo: Va = 5:1, the stripping time is 5 min, the stripping of three stages. Under this condition we may strip loaded organic phase which contain the vanadium 9.0266 mg/ml, the stripping rate is 99.73%.

Abstract: In order to improve the combustion effects of pulverized coal and replacement ratio of coals, the combustion- supporting mechanism, development and applications are analyzed and industry experiment are carried out based on the research of combustion- supporting agent without alkalis on coals combustion with TG- DTG- DSC ways. The results show that there is an optimum addition percent for coals combustion with combustion- supporting agent. The coal ratio and coke ratio are improved obviously with 1.7%combustion- supporting agent in LongGang.

Abstract: With practical data of the BF ironmaking from Jiuquan Iron&Steel Cooperation Ltd. (JISC), taking the quality of pig iron as evaluation indicator, mathematical models based on the least square regression and partial least square regression were set up respectively by co-relation analysis of feeding-to-product interval of the BF processing. The calculation results showed that the reasonable description can be obtained by the partial least square regression model; and 10 of 29 parameters with obvious impact on the BF operation were listed accordingly. Meanwhile, an optimal group of parameters was found by genetic algorism calculation method. The optimal index of the group was 99.13%. This study is beneficial to the improvement of feeding adjustment and optimal operation of BF ironmaking.
