Abstract: Microwave absorbing properties of composites containing activated carbon-fiber felt screens (ACFFSs) have been investigated. Samples with different types of ACFFSs embedded in composites were fabricated. Experiments were carried out to test the absorption effect of embedded ACFFSs. It is found that both the ACFFS patterns and its element configurations are critical for the reflection properties of samples. With the distance between strips and the width of strips in the inductive ACFFS decreased, the absorbing properties of composites are improved. The composite obtains a reflection loss below –10dB in 8~18GHz, which is the frequency range the radar works in, when the distance between strips and the width of strips are 7mm and 5mm respectively. With the side of plates and the distance between plates in the capacitive ACFFS reduced, the absorption effect of composites rises. When the distance between plates and the side of plates are 5mm and 7mm separately, the composite achieves a reflection loss below –10dB over a bandwidth of 8.7GHz and the minimum value of absorption rate reaches –31.7dB.

Abstract: In this paper, a certain B737 aircraft fuselage section was used to research the influence of different impact conditions on fuselage dynamic characteristics. A finite element model of fuselage was built up from FS380 to FS500. The impact responses of fuselage subjected to 9.133m/s vertical velocity were analyzed under the conditions of 0° roll angle, 10° left roll angle and combination acceleration. The differences of transformation and acceleration history curves under different conditions were compared. The research results show that the performances of 10° left roll angle will change fuselage transformation and acceleration of seats location, the appears of combination acceleration will increase transformation of floor and decrease acceleration at the seats location. The crashworthiness of aircraft structure can be effectively improved by selecting the appropriate landing way.

Abstract: In this paper, composite static strength test are analyzed with the Weibull and normal statistical method. Compare the Weibull analysis with the normal analysis, which shows that the A-basis value and B-basis value from the Weibull analysis respectively are less than ones from normal analysis by approximate 9.7% and 2.6% under tension loading, on the other hand they are decreased by approximate 16.1% and 5.2% under compression loading. This analysis result has the higher application worth.
