Abstract: In this paper, according to the structure character of transmission tower, the transmission lines are simulated as link10 space spar elements which have the unique feature of a bilinear stiffness matrix resulting in a uniaxial tension-only (or compression-only) elements and the transmission tower are simulated as space element beam188 and link 8. So the ANSYS fine finite element models of transmission tower-line system which are more agrees with engineering practices are set up, dynamic characteristics are calculated on nine conditions and the influences of transmission line on dynamic characteristics of the transmission tower are discussed, some valuable conclusions are given.

Abstract: This paper calculated the seismic response of suspension arch bridge witch subject the seismic loads in longitudinal, transverse, vertical or their combination based on the dynamic characteristics analysis. The results indicated that the earthquake-resistance capability of suspension arch bridge were under-estimated while not considering damping and were over-estimated while not considering gravity stiffness. The conclusions provided necessary reference for study and design of suspension arch bridge.

Abstract: In this paper, the random vibration theory is employed to research on the dynamic performance of suspension system of new energy vehicle. Based an efficient sensitivity analysis method, vehicle ride comfort and maneuverability have been investigated by suspension parameters optimization. The pseudo-excitation method has been used to analysis the dynamic responses and sensitivity, the computation performance and adaptability have been investigated by using numerical examples. Hence a convenient and accurate computation method for new energy vehicle optimization design is demonstrated and some useful conclusions are drawn.

Abstract: In this paper, a new approach is proposed and addressed for designing vehicle suspension systems based on the scheme of multi-objective programming. For complicated vehicle random vibration, a linear model is used to describe the dynamic behavior of vehicles running on randomly profiled roads. The road irregularity is regarded as a Gaussian random process. Pesudo excitation method has been used to solve the dynamic responses. And a Kriging model is introduced to build the approximate mapping relationship between the design variables and the responses. Optimal solutions are derived by means of the method of centers for structural optimization with multiple objectives. Numerical examples are given, and compared with other optimization methods.

Abstract: In this paper, the dynamic characteristics of short-span suspension arch bridge are analyzed, and the influence of parameters for constant-load variation, stiffness condition and displacement boundary condition to the dynamic characteristics is studied; the main design parameters of influencing dynamic characteristics of suspension arch bridge are put forward. The study results provide the theoretical basis for the optimization design of suspension arch bridge.
