Abstract: A fifth order WENO-Boltzmann method for solving the one dimension conservation Euler equation was developed. A generalized lattice Boltzmann distribution function was defined, which could be calculated by the WENO difference schemes. Then the solving of the one dimension conservation Euler equation became the solving of the generalized lattice Boltzmann distribution function by the WENO difference schemes. The method kept the benefits of the WENO method such as the high precision and high resolution, and provided a new way to construct the lattice Boltzmann models for solving the Euler equation.

Abstract: The formula and calculating method of specific heat ratio in confined explosion with small explosive charge volume ratios under considering chemical reactions of the detonation products was researched. Taking the TNT explosive as an example, a numerical calculating program was written, and the specific heat ratio of the confined explosion either considering the influence of the chemical reactions or not were calculated by the program.

Abstract: Abstract. Parallel reaction is a common reaction of chemical kinetics, and there are two types of parallel reactions according to the reaction orders equivalence: parallel reactions with same reaction orders and parallel reactions with different reaction orders. For the reason that the reaction orders are different, the chemical kinetic numerical computation and kinetic model parameters estimating of parallel reactions with different reaction orders is more complicated than parallel reactions with same reaction orders. In this paper, the 4th order Runge-Kutta method was employed to solve the numerical computation problems of complex ordinary differential equations, which was the chemical kinetic governing equations of parallel reactions with different reaction orders, and also, the Richardson extrapolation and Least Square Estimate were employed to estimate the kinetic model parameters of parallel reactions with different reaction orders. A C++ program has been processed to solve the problem and has been tested by an example of parallel reactions with different reaction orders.

Abstract: On the basis of the energy conservation and the state equation of the ideal gas, a formula of quasi-static pressures of the confined explosions calculating was derived under the constant entropy assumption of the detonation products expansion and the constant volume assumption of the chemical reactions. Taking the TNT explosive as an example, the quasi-static pressures of the confined explosion either considering the influence of the chemical reactions or not were calculated and the quasi-static pressures of the confined space were obtained

Abstract: In this paper, a summary of Genetic Algorithm methods developed recent years applied in chemical reaction kinetics was presented. The applications of the Genetic Algorithm in reduction of the chemical reaction kinetics, estimation of the chemical kinetic parameters and calculation of the chemical kinetic equations were expounded here. Eventually, the confronted problem and developing trend of the application of Genetic Algorithm methods in chemical kinetics were reviewed.
