Abstract: The natural landscape of the pudong ancient town in Shanghai's waterfront with "bridges, water, people" rich in distinctive cultural landscape has always been popular. Rustic country setting and its rich cultural heritage have attracted many people to want to get to know it. Ancient town in Shanghai have been famous in the world too. "Authenticity" town folk culture is the essence of the town's cultural heritage. On one hand, the attention to the life of local residents and traditional architecture "authenticity" can revitalize traditional cultural heritage, promote tourism development and protection of ancient town. On the other hand, building ecology, energy conservation, and sustainability are the current world trend, most importantly the needs of the world's sustainable economic development. In this paper, taking Shao Jia Lou town house as an example for the transformation of the traditional waterfront interface, based on the waterfront interface environmental features, the adoption of the internal layout of the building materials and re-design the ventilation system, heating systems and new energy sources, ecological transformation has been carefully designed. In addition, some practical design studies have been done regarding the diversification of the use of small space. The precondition of making people aware of China's traditional ecological transformation of the waterfront interface is to extend the traditional culture, ancient town in Shanghai, protect and improve the waterfront environment and raise living standards.

Abstract: As people’s aesthetic requirements on building change, building skins is drawing more and more attention, and the study on its material carrier will greatly promote expression of skin design. By taking the application of ecological building materials to building skins as studying mainline, the article points out the innovative application and expression of new ecological materials to skin design, and summarizes the diversity and development trend of ecological skin material based on technical support. At the same time, the paper also reflects in artistry and technicality and the revelation gained from new ecological building skins studies, and proposes suggestions about how to make technical, humanity, environmental protecting, spiritual and artistic ecological building skins materials.

Abstract: Although installation art and fiber art are two different modern art categories, as they are both based on sculpt of materials instead of portray, they are usually connected together. With consideration on design, existence form and material concept of installation art, this paper discusses the expansion and performance of these methods in fiber art creation.

Abstract: When room space extends from a simple three-dimensional physical space to a four-dimensional spiritual space, when people begin to rise aesthetic appeal to a higher level and emphasize harmony with the environment, the textile works of art at this time were all considered to play one of the most important evolutional roles. Hanging textiles which featured multi-functional made themselves irreplaceable contents in indoor space. From the application and development view of hanging textiles, the article emphasizes on the decorative function and application strategies to look forward to continuously improvement of hanging textiles’ application and design levels in indoor space.
