Abstract: The hydropower station tunnel construction is crossover operation and environment is poor. Installation space and time are limited. The paper introduces corresponding measures and installation method.Through field investigation and vast demonstration, using electric hoist and little bridge machine in equipment assembly area can avoid the effect to power house equipment installation and reduce crossover operation time. Using installation platform on the little bridge in hydro-generator area can reduce the use of the little bridge machine and improve the installation efficiency .

Abstract: Light gauge steel-light weight aggregate concrete structure is a new type of structure system. This paper introduces the composition, characteristics and production and installation process of this kind of structure. For the Da Yunhe villas, as an example, this paper presents the structure detail and analysis method, and gives the bearing capacity and rigidity calculation result of the typical wall and floor beams, which verify the design code of the steel structure. This paper provides the beneficial reference and basis for future research and promotion.

Abstract: Concrete beam and slab system is commonly applied in the main plant roof of hydropower station, which is difficult for construction and slow, having a great impact on the construction period. For the main plant roof structure (span of 30 metres)of GuanDi hydropower station in Yalong River, this paper proposes three light steel roof systems, which are arched corrugated steel roof, light gauge-steel and shell roof, and carries detailed analyses and comparisons on the force calculation, appearance, the amount of steel, site construction, anticorrosive performance and other aspects. Regarded that the light gauge-steel roof is the most suitable system for the main plant roof of hydropower station, this paper introduces the layout, arched truss design and purlin of light gauge-steel roof, providing reference for design and application of similar projects.

Abstract: Arched Corrugated Steel Roof (ACSR) is a kind of thin-shell steel structure. Although it has many advantages, the characteristics of little span and low carrying capacity make such structure a very narrow range. This paper take an example with an arched corrugated steel roof of the 35.6 m span constructed with traditional way but the bearing capacity can't meet the design requirements, puts forward two enhanced measures, namely design the arch into fixed end support or set concrete cantilever beam to reduce arch span, then respectively analyze the two enhanced measures with finite element analysis software ABAQUS and ACSR software, finally get the maximum stress ratio and displacement of the structure, and consider setting concrete cantilever beam as the most appropriate measure to the project. The result of this paper provided beneficial reference for the application of the same type structures.

Abstract: A workshop’s roof is designed to use steel tube trusses with the span of 24m. There are three kinds of variable cross-section splice joints of the roof truss bottom chord. Nine splice joint specimens, three for each kind, were tested to obtain their tension capacity and failure modes. A special test setup is designed to introduce the tension load to the splice joint specimen. The paper detailed introduced the test setup and method, discussed the failure load and failure mode of the joints. Experimental research indicated that the bottom chord splice joint with variable cross-section of the roof is safe, reliable, having high bearing capacity. The research also validated the correctness of the design and calculation, and provided the basis for the application of such joints in the engineering practice.
