Abstract: The main objective of this work is development of a type of status parameter testing system based on CAN bus for construction machinery. Various difficulties due to over-abundant parameters of testing and controlling, many different types of transducer, changes and anomalies in the operation temperature and harsh EMI environment are considered in the accomplishment. The design of intelligent field testing node is demonstrated in detail. The intelligent node consists of embedded microcontroller AT89C52, high-precision signal conditioning circuits, CAN interface module and other peripheral circuits. The intelligent node uses software auto-zero correction and full-scale correction as well as the method of second-degree parabola interpolation to deal with the non-linear characteristic of the measured data. Hence, it implements the high-precision detection and measurement. In addition, the intelligent connects to the host computer via CAN bus to form a distributed high-precision status parameters testing system. The hardware circuit of operation status parameters measurement and communication interface circuit are developed and described, and the software is also accomplished with C language and LabVIEW. The system has the advantages of simple structure, reliable performance, significant capability of real time processing, powerful anti-jamming performance and so forth. Meanwhile, the system has great application prospect.

Abstract: In order to overcome the difficulty of fault detection and clearing in the use and maintenance of a type of rocket mine-sweeping vehicle, the operation principle of fire-control system, the fault characteristics, fault parameters and fault distribution are studied. Furthermore, the fault detection instrument based on embedded system is developed. It consists of hardware and software. The hardware includes of embedded micro-controller STC5A60S2, keyword and highlight LED I/O, LCD, memory circuit, connector-adapter and dedicated connection cable. The dual CPU cooperative technology is also used in the hardware platform. The application software is developed with expert system principle, it runs in two modes of simplified and expert mode. In simple working mode, fire-control fault detection and substitute are performed. However, in expert mode, all the function of system testing, system substitute, fault-clear wizard and parameter management is accomplished. Meanwhile the state machine programming technology is introduced in the software. The instrument brings new ideas how to deduce expert repair in the field, and it has practical value.

Abstract: To overcome the difficulty of field fault diagnosis in the complicated circumstance of construction machinery, the distributed expert system of fault diagnosis is developed in this paper. According to the technical requirements, the hardware platform based on smart industrial portable data terminal is performed. Meanwhile, the modular software of the fault diagnosis expert system is implemented. Its hardware is mainly composed of intelligent portable field testing unit as well as the central control computer. The software platform mainly consists of PDA modules for field fault testing and diagnosis, expert system module, maintenance support and data query module, training module, help module and report printing module. The work has greatly enhanced the capability of field fault detection, diagnosis and maintenance support in military units.

Abstract: Based on embeded technology a portable fault detection equipment for the construction machinery hydraulic system is developed. The equipment is mainly composed of embeded hardware platform and graphical-interface software platform. The hardware platform includes the core control unit ECM-945GSE industrial computer, 8-channel data acquisition module based on ARM chip, LCD screen, touch screen, power supply module with large-scale operation voltage and wide temperature range, PTT pressure transducers, the integration transducer of temperature, pressure, flow rate transducer as well as equipment chassis. The software system consists of data acquisition procedures, diagnosis, detection and output printing programs and drivers programs. The pilot trial in the armed forces shows that both detectors can be used in repair shop or indoor, but also in the field of construction machinery on-site emergency repair when rapid detection and diagnosis. And it has a strong adaptability.

Abstract: A type of hydraulic pollutant decontaminating equipment was made in this paper. The decontamination and maintenance means were studied. The circulating decontaminating method was put forward and developed by modularized technique. The hardware of the decontaminating equipment was implemented with single-chip microcomputer and integrated circuit technology. The controlling application program integrated with fuzzy logic and reasoning function was developed. The practical use showed that the decontaminating equipment could be used in the maintenance of hydraulic circuit of bulldozer as well as the other engineering machinery, therefore realizing the quick decontamination and cleaning of hydraulic component and oil on-line purifying.

Abstract: Due to the multiple types and complexity of fault diagnosis, the general-purpose testing platform of engineering machinery’s hydraulic system is developed for the maintenance of military equipment. The general function and structure of the testing platform is presented. The hardware system consists of modular circuit, integrates control computer of embedded controller with PXI-interfaced modular instrument, program-controlled device, connector and adapter hardware. And the software program comprises data management module, fault diagnosis module coupled to the data acquisition module, signal processing module, experiment condition control module, database access module, system configuration and self-test as well as help module. Further, the hardware characteristics are showed and the principle of hydraulic testing platform is presented. The universal testing platform offers enormous benefits for fault diagnosis and condition monitoring of military equipment and machinery.

Abstract: Due to hydraulic pump’s multiple fault parameters, imprecision of fault diagnosis and bad fuzzy properties, a novel method of data preprocess to remove the noise disturbance and extract the characteristics of parameters, in which the order analysis is applied, is put forward. Then the hydraulic pump’s fault is diagnosed with decision-level data fusion of multiple sensors. The practical results showed that the fault diagnosis method based on D-S proof theory and decision-level data fusion could promote the accuracy and efficiency of hydraulic pump’s fault diagnosis.
