Abstract: In view of the existing flaws of traditional manual observations, a new type of tailing reservoir safety monitoring and warning system based on ZigBee and LabVIEW was designed. The system chose SoC chip CC2530 as the RF transceiver and designed the low-power wireless sensor networks nodes to collect and process the data of tailing reservoir. It chose ZigBee 2007 as the network communication protocol, and uploaded the data to PC by RS232 serial port. The monitoring and warning interface of PC was completed with LabVIEW. The testing results show that the data transmission of the network is stable and the system is suitable for real-time monitoring and warning of the tungsten tailing reservoir.

Abstract: This paper analyses time-domain waveform and its unilateral energy spectral density based on the Gaussian pulse former 12 derivative functions. We could conclude that pulse forming factor has a closer relationship with different order number derived function affected the energy spectral density. Therefore, in order to maximize the approximate Federal Communications Commission (FCC) emission mask as much as possible, an iterative algorithm is proposed to optimize the linear combination of the Gaussian pulse former 12 order derived function. Compared with single differential Gaussian pulse, the simulation results show that after linear combination, new ultra-wideband pulse signal could greatly meet the spectrum utilization and indoor radiation mask standards promulgated by the FCC.

Abstract: Since wireless sensor networks consist of sensors with limited battery energy, a major design goal is to maximize the lifetime of sensor network. To improve measurement accuracy and prolong network lifetime, reducing data traffic is needed. In the clustering-based wireless sensor networks, a novel data aggregation algorithm based on OPT and Layida Method is proposed. In the proposed method, Layida Method preprocesses data and data fusion model for data integration are used. Its availability is proved by comparing with the results of two existing algorithms.

Abstract: Tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) is used to monitor fast or slow tire pressure loss or too high tire temperature, and ensure the safety of the drivers and the passengers. A new kind of TPMS as the core of MSP430F149 microcontrollers is put forward, which based on Wireless Sensor Network. It adopts Infineon SP370 new sensor as the transmitter and TDA5220 as the receiver. The whole system scheme, hardware and software design are expounded in this paper. A low cost, low power consumption and high precision TPMS is studied, and the tire pressure and temperature can be immediately and real-time measured.

Abstract: This paper introduces an on-line monitoring and fault diagnosis system of Fan based on LABVIEW and Advantech PCI-1711 data acquisition card. Through the FFT spectrum analysis of domain vibration, four conditions corresponding to imbalance, misalignment, friction and oil whirl are tested. The result shows that the system can identify these common faults correctly. The system has the advantages of reliable stability, high accuracy and easy manipulation.

Abstract: A forest environmental monitoring system based on GPRS communication network and ZigBee sensor network was researched and designed. The article described the architecture of the system, also discussed the framework of the sensor nodes using CC2430 as main chip and the gateway node based on MC35i.The data collection of sensor nodes, the protocol conversion of gateway node, and the implementation process of the monitoring center software were introduced in the article. With advantages of low cost, strong robustness and always online, the system can be widely used in a wide range for forest environmental parameters monitoring.

Abstract: Study focusing on the dynamics of the crystallizer hydraulic non-sinusoidal vibration system in the bullet caster crystallizer, which is employed in an electric furnace factory, is introduced. With respect to construct a mathematical model of continuous casting crystallizer hydraulic vibration system, a power band graph method is applied. With the utilization of this method, a process of modeling and evaluating the performance of the hydraulic cylinder, electric-hydraulic servo and sensor system is conducted. The system is also analyzed and simulated by MATLAB/SIMULINK. In our experiment, the performance of the crystallizer non-sinusoidal vibration system with the change of main parameters is studied. Furthermore, an experiment is also conducted aims at investigating the quality requirements for the servo system, including stability, rapidity, and accuracy. The results demonstrate that crystallizer hydraulic servo non-sinusoidal vibration system can satisfy high frequency steel ball requirements and small amplitude design requirements.
