Abstract: It is important that preparing high quality grinding wheel to match Quick-point grinding processing. Using brazed CBN grinding wheel, grains can be combined with wheel matrix in high bonding strength, which is helpful to minimize wheel wear and to gain a good grinding ability. By establishing the connection between stress and its increment, the mechanical properties of wheel under different conditions is described. The wheel speed has effect on wheel matrix displacement and stress. Applying finite element method to optimize wheel structure, a final grinding wheel for Quick-point grinding is obtained.

Abstract: Technologies of remote screen sharing, remote control and network character intercommunion were adopted in this paper to construct a cooperative design system. The methods of developing cooperative plot system by the virtual network technology and constructing cooperative intercommunion system with web design language ASP and Access database were discussed, and the isomorphic environment collaborative design was carried out under the environment of AutoCAD, Pro-E, CAXA and so on. Finally, the function and feasibility of the developed cooperative design system were tested through examples.

Abstract: Adopting the method of PIV, systematical theory analysis and experiment research were made on the airflow field distribution of super-high speed pectination grinding wheel, as well as experiment design and data acquisition, the data processing was carried out through the software of FlowMap, Tecplot, and Matlab. By analysis and discussion focused on experiment results, the general rules of airflow field distribution in super-high speed pectination grinding wheel were preliminary drawn, which provides the research foundation with a view to find a new method for the effective supply of super-high speed grinding coolant.

Abstract: To the processing requirements of high precision small dimension and high surface quality for internal spherical surface with through hole processing, a new technological method of precision turning was proposed in this paper, the processing equipment and control system were designed and developed, the parameters of precision turning technology were given. Through precision turning experiment’s verification, this technological method of precision turning can satisfy processing requirement, and has features of simple, high efficiency, and low processing cost. Some comparative research in various small dimension precision turning technology for internal spherical surface were also made in this paper, and conclusions full of research and processing reference value were drawn.

Abstract: The investigation of the experiment method on airflow field around super-high grinding wheel by PIV (Particle Image of Velocity, PIV) instrument was introduced in the paper. The measure system and scheme were designed for the experiment with PIV applied in the super-high speed grinding wheel for the airflow. The processing method of experimental data was discussed and the experiment result validated the feasibility of the experiment method.
