Abstract: In order to further study anti-bacterial properties and the influence of different content of photocatalyst fibers on the anti-bacterial properties, the photocatalyst and bamboo fiber were blended with different proportions and series of fabric samples were selected in the experiments. Shock method was used for the fabric samples which the anti-bacterial properties were tested and analyzed. Test results showed that, the inhibition of bacterial function is better for textiles woven with fibers of photocatalyst modification. When the fiber content of photocatalyst is 40% in the fabric, the inhibitory rate of the fabric can be reached to 86%, and can provide a theoretical basis for the future development of anti-bacterial fabrics.

Abstract: For fabrics, the diversification and superior of the properties and the styles can be achieved by blending fibers. To keep up with the demand of the market, PTT, PLA and Rayon were selected as the materials and 10 kinds of PTT/PLA/Rayon blended fabrics with different fiber content were designed and woven. And then the wearabilities of the fabrics were tested respectively. At last, fuzzy evaluation wad used to discuss the affection of the blended ratio on the fabric’s wearability. The results show that various kinds of wearabilities of the fabric are the best when the blending ratio is PTT/ PLA/Rayon 40/30/30.

Abstract: In order to study the wearability of multi-component blended fabrics, there are 9 kinds of fabrics which belong to A, B and C three series were woven. They were blended with different proportions e.g. PTT, PLA, Cooldry, triangular shaped polyester yarn, cotton, hemp, viscose, conductive filament, and so on. Anti-pilling property, crease recovery, drapability, moisture transmission and air permeability of the fabrics were tested and analyzed. From the test results, following conclusions can be gotten. 1) The anti-pilling property is good for fabrics with tighter weave construction; 2) The crease recovery is good for fabrics with smaller weft density; 3) The moisture permeability is good for fabrics with smaller tightness; 4) The crease resistance, drapability, moisture permeability and air permeability of the fabrics can be improved by looser weave construction and smaller binding point.

Abstract: To study the influence of negative oxygen ions fiber content on the released negative oxygen ions concentration of the fabric and the effect of different organizational structures on wearability of negative oxygen ions fabrics, the blended yarns of modified polyester negative oxygen ions fiber and viscose fiber in different blending ratio were selected, two series of fabrics were manufactured for the experiment. The released amount of negative oxygen ions and wearability of the blended fabrics were tested and analyzed in this paper. The results showed that with the increasing of negative oxygen ions fiber content in fabrics, the released negative oxygen ions concentration had increased. When the blended ratio of negative oxygen ions fiber and viscose fiber in fabric was 50/50, the released negative oxygen ions concentration of the fabric reached up to 4810/cm3 and was close to that of the field. Wearability of honeycomb weave fabric was best and suitable for home textiles through comprehensive analysis, followed by satin fabric. The conclusion from this research can be used as a reference to design and develop negative oxygen ions home textiles.

Abstract: The preforms were woven by the co-yarns which were consisted of GF, PP and PET. Then the co-yarns were manufactured into hybrid thermoplastic composites. The parameters of the forming process were studied by analyzing the tensile properties of the composites. The results show that the composite holds the best tensile properties when the pressure is 5MPa, the packing temperature is 190°C, and the holding time is 30 min. The existing of a second pressure of 10 MPa at 150°C for 3 min will help to improve the capacity of the load supporting for the GF/PET thermoplastic composites

Abstract: Three-dimensional (3D) integrated cellular woven structures are formed by binding layers of typical 3D woven structures together in the thickness direction with binding threads. On the basis of the geometric model established during previous work, the orientation angle of binders in the basic structure was analyzed firstly, and then the orientation angle of binders and warps in the 3D integrated cellular woven structure were also studied. And at last following conclusions could be gotten: Firstly, the orientation angles Qb of the binders will be larger as the regularizing filling density pw increasing when other parameters (λw ,Nft ,bb ) are all the same. It turns out the adjusting function of the regularizing filling density is a little sensitive to the orientation angle of binders in the basic structure. Secondly, the orientation angle Qcj of the warps will be larger as the regularizing filling density pw increasing when other parameters (λw ,nd ,bb ) are all the same. It turns out the adjusting function of the regularizing filling density is a little sensitive to the orientation angle of warps for 3D integrated cellular woven structures.

Abstract: To study the relationship between the content of silver-plated fibers in fabrics and the antibacterial performance of fabrics, five sets of samples with common polyester yarns and silver-plated polyamide yarns were manufactured for the experiment; a qualitative antibacterial test with flask-shaking method was performed and compared for fabrics with different content of silver-plated fibers. The results show that the fabrics with silver-plated fibers have good antibacterial effect, and the bacterial inhibition rate will be improved as the content of silver-plated fibers increasing. When the content of silver-plated fibers is 3.6%, the bacterial inhibition rate for coli form will reach to 76.92%, when the content of silver-plated fibers is higher than 11.99%, the fabrics have better antibacterial property for coli form and the bacterial inhibition rate is higher than 99%.
