Abstract: To realize cloud manufacturing (CMfg) production in group enterprises, manufacturing resources and modeling technologies of cloud pool were studied. According to the characteristics of group enterprises, manufacturing resources were analyzed and classified into human, equipment, materials, cooperation resources and so on. Then, the realization method which manufacturing resources mapped into virtual resources was researched, and a layer platform for cloud manufacturing was proposed. Taking CNC machine tool as an example, the ontology model was built with Semantic Web and OWL based on ontology theory. Finally, using semantic similarity computation method and case-based reasoning, the virtual resources were intelligent searched and matched so that manufacturing resources can realize unification, sharing and reuse.

Abstract: Providing customization product with reasonable cost for customers is one of keys for enterprise to gain competition advantage, customized product’ cost depends on customization level and postponement strategy under supply chain. As to a kind of customization product consisting of multi modules with different customer order decoupling point(CODP), this paper builds a class push/pull supply chain pattern by combining postponement with the supply chain based on analyzing customized product’s logistics / production process and customers demand transfer process, and presents a customization cost structural model. The impact of different customization degree and postponement realization form on customized product’ holding cost and total cost is also analyzed respectively. This analysis and calculation of total cost through an algorithm are helpful to find the appropriate customization degree and the reasonable postponement strategy. At last, an illustrative example is given.

Abstract: On the basis of scale-based modular product family design method, the customization product CAD/CAE integrated system was studied under mass customization environment. The system divides into three parts including programming, design and evaluating process. First of all, product family model was built during programming process, which includes functional model, principle model and structure model. Then based on the product family model database, in accordance with the theory of variant design, using parametric CAD re-development technology, specific product satisfied by client customizes rapidly. Finally utilizing finite element analysis to analyze and evaluate the customization design, the customization result will be more reasonable and high efficiency.

Abstract: To improve product family design methods for mass customization currently, scale-based modular method for product family design is proposed. On the basis of it, a web-based customization product design system is built. Three processes are included in the system: modeling product family, customizing individual product and estimating cost. Key technologies used in the system are studied on focus that include modular design, scale factors design, tabular layouts of article characteristics (LAC), Case-Based Reasoning (CBR), parametric CAD (SolidWorks) and so on. Finally, taking MK2110 internal grinder as an example, the web-based customization design system is set up.
