Abstract: Based on retrieval for domestic and international literatures about the grinding fluids special for ceramic machining use, this paper put forward a method to enhance the engineering ceramic grinding machining efficiency using the organic grinding fluid added with the long chain alcohol The experiment, performed on the constant force cutter, greatly increased the ceramic grinding efficiency by 2.4 times through the comparative experiment for several normal grinding fluids as well as by adding additives. In addition, this paper conducted the matter structural analysis for the liquid-solid interface using the Raman Spectrum technology and preliminarily discussed the mechanism of this grinding fluid.

Abstract: It is an effective method to enhance the engineering ceramic grinding efficiency using the organic grinding fluid added with the long chain alcohol. In the cutting-grinding experiment, the ceramic grinding efficiency was 2.4 times higher than the common grinding fluids. The microstructural analysis and the hardness testing performed for the liquid-solid interface using the Raman Spectrum technology and the nano impression technology found that there were abnormal peaks in the Raman Spectrum of the liquid-solid interface between the ceramics and the organic grinding fluid and the presence of abnormal peaks was familiar with the changing rules of surface hardness. The effect might change the grinding mode of the diamond grain micro-blade in the grinding process, thus to affect the grinding efficiency and the machining quality. It is a research direction to be further discussed.

Abstract: One reason for the delay of open-architecture control system in industry action is that no clear and hierarchical design method has evolved. Different application environment and object should have different open levels, applying platforms, system architectures and integration method. Abstract open control concepts or characters must be converted into specific and practical applying objects and contents of one designing of open-architecture CNC system. Then through analysis of the hierarchy or level of system open character, practical system functional objects to be realized, technical and non-technical issues to be considered, implementation contents and process and the method of component and system validation, a hierarchical design method of open modular architecture CNC system is established.
