Abstract: This paper presents a method of controlling an anti-ship missile with the use of the linear-quadratic regulator (LQR). The equations of dynamics of the flight were linearized and written in the form of equations of state. To control the anti-ship missile, a double executive gas-dynamic (moveable nozzle of exhaust gases) and aerodynamic (moveable control surfaces) system is applied. The missile flight is considered in a three dimensional space, whereas the controlling vector is comprised of four components: two components to control the height of the flight and two components to control the direction of the flight. The results are presented in a graphic form.

Abstract: The paper presents the ways of stabilising and controlling a Ship Anti-Aircraft Rocket Missile Launcher (SAARML) with the use of a Three-Axis Gyroscope-Stabilized Platform (TAGSP). The analysis of the dynamics of the SAARML and TAGSP systems is conducted for the case of searching and tracking a manoeuvring air target in the conditions of interferences and the influence of kinematic forces from the base (ship's deck). Some research results are presented in a graphical form.

Abstract: The paper presents a physical and mathematical model of the controlled anti-aircraft launcher based onboard the ship, whose aim is to fight low-flying air targets. Selected tests results of the computer simulation are presented in a graphic form.

Abstract: The paper presents an algorithm for controlling a searching and tracking head (STH) mounted on a mobile vehicle. A numerical analysis was conducted to establish the dynamics of the controlled STH due to the kinematic action of the vehicle moving over rough terrain. Some of the computer simulation results were represented graphically.
