Abstract: Though there has been a large number of studies concerning the modification of wood plastic composite materials, there is still more to be done. This report aims to study the effect of the coupling agents (PP-g-MAH, silane, titanate) and compatibilizer(SBS) on the mechanical properties of straw flour/waste plastic composites. Straw flour, waste plastic, modifying agents and other additives were mixed evenly in a high speed mixing machine. And the mixed materials were compounded into the pelllets using the twin-screw extruder. Then the test specimens were prepared by the injection molding. The influence of 4% coupling agent (PP-g-MAH, silane, titanate) on the mechanical properties of straw flour/waste plastic composites was researched, and the most suitable coupling agent to the composites was obtained. In order to increase the toughness of the composite materials and to furthermore improve the comprehensive mechanical properties, the WPCs with different contents styrene butadiene styrene (SBS) were investigated. The experimental results showed that the coupling agent PP-g-MAH and the content was 4%, the mechanical properties of the composite materials were better; when SBS content was 5%, the maximum increases of tensile strength, flexural strength and impact strength of SBS modified WPCs were by 14.34%, 20.75%, 34.38% compared to those of neat WPCs respectively.

Abstract: To study the globoidal indexing cams parametric design, this paper introduced three kinds of its parametric modeling method.That was offset surfaces method , direct modeling method and "point - curve - surface" method. Then modeled the globoidal indexing cams which had the same parameters and specifications by three parametric methods and Pro/Engineer.Meanwhile, used curvature comb command in Pro/Engineer to conduct the curvature analysis of indexing segment of cam profile. At last, conducted the indexing mechanisms kinematic simulation by ADAMS. From the characteristics of these three parametric methods and the result of cam profiles curvature analysis, this paper explains the reason of jitter acceleration in the simulation results.

Abstract: In order to research impacting strength of bamboo-plastic composite from bamboo powder content, particle size, type of coupling agent, etc. The bamboo-plastic composite is made of extrusion and injection molding process. Results show: when bamboo powder content is 30%, impacting strength of the material is the highest; the bamboo-plastic composite which made of Silane and MAPE has higher impacting strength than others; when PP: HDPE = 2:3, the impacting strength of the bamboo-plastic composite is the highest. Compared with these factors, the coupling agent on impacting strength is the most obvious influence.

Abstract: This paper proposes a new structure of hybrid cam-linkage mechanical press. First of all, the design process is introduced and positive movement simulation is done separately for hybrid cam-linkage mechanism and hybrid seven-bar mechanism in Pro/Mechanism. Through comparing the curves of slider’s output displacement, velocity and acceleration, it comes to the conclusion that the slider of hybrid cam-linkage mechanical press has better output motion characteristics. Then power and torque distribution of servo motor and general motor of the hybrid cam-linkage mechanical press is studied in ADAMS based on the simulation results. At last, torque of general motor and servo motor in practical work is analyzed by taking cold extrusion press as an example.

Abstract: On the basis of the CAD/CAM design system of parallel indexing cam mechanism which is developed successfully based on VC environment, use it to generate precise profile data, then create the three-dimensional model of the parallel indexing cam and assemble it with other parts under the Pro/E environment. At last, the model is transformed into ADAMS through interface Mechanism/Pro, then its virtual prototype is built and the dynamic simulation is conducted. Then makes an intensive analysis according to the result of simulation, collects accurate test data by simulating the physical prototype, so as to achieve the goal of improving the comprehensive properties of the parallel indexing cam mechanism.

Abstract: This paper takes the parallel indexing cam mechanism as research object and analyzes the formation of the profile of cam. On the basis of Visual C++6.0 object-oriented method, we have successfully developed the CAD/CAE/CAM system of parallel indexing cam mechanisms, which provides the parameter input dialogue frame with friendly interface. We can generate accurate profile data by using it, then create the three-dimensional model of the parallel indexing cam and assemble it with other parts under the Pro/E environment. At last, we don’t build virtual prototype until we transform the model into ADAMS through special interface Mechanism/Pro. Finally, this paper has researched the theory of contact and collision, carries out the motion simulation. We have received many valuable conclusions of practical application through all of the process.

Abstract: The gating system is usually made up of the sprue, the runner, the gate and the slag well. It is an important component of the mold. On the basis of relationship among runner’s geometry, the pressure fall of plastic melt flowing in runner, flow rate and material properties, we can use the UDF library features and Pro / Toolkit functions in PRO / E software to do the second development of PRO / E software. As a result, we can establish the CAD module of gating system for the injection mold. The module has the perfect function and good generality and can help the designer for cost reduction. It may be used whenever you want to use. The PRO / E software has a powerful function to design mold. Taking these as a base, it is very convenient for the module to design the gating system of injection mold.

Abstract: Cooperative work environment supported by computer (CSCW) is a platform for sharing information, which supports the exchange of design ideas of different teams. The collaborative design and manufacture of injection molds based on the CSCW can shorten the life cycle of mold development, improve the mold quality and lower the development cost. This paper describes the framework of collaborative design and manufacture for injection molds, discusses the construction of the organizational model and analyzes the workflow of design and manufacture.

Abstract: The key technologies about the 3D reconstruction of the bone SCT image for fast biological manufacture is discussed in this paper. Methods for 3D bone reconstruction are studied. Finally, an appropriate method based on bone SCT image is gained. SCT image is preprocessed, binary treated, and contour abstracted by SCT image abstraction system. This method can achieve following aims: processing outline data collection, reversing bone 3D surface and reconstructing 3D bionic model. The example in this work has shown how the 3D model of a bone is obtained through plane reconstructing successfully. Image processing algorithm is concluded, thereby providing necessary information for 3D reconstruction of bone SCT image.

Abstract: For injection mold with core, during the injection molding process, the pressure on the core
is usually uneven and will cause the core to deform. In this paper, on the basis of some predigestions
and assumptions of the model, formulas for forecasting the deformation of the circular cross-section
and the rectangular cross-section cores under three different injection ways are analyzed. The
theoretical analysis results of a core with special section are validated through finite element software.
At the end, some suggestions are given to minish the core deformation when the calculation value is
too large.
