Abstract: Energy-Economy-Environment (3E) is a very complex system, whose internal factors interact with each other greatly. There are great quantities of index data in the three areas which include energy, economy and environment, and there exist complex relationship among the indicators. Therefore, people hope to find a new pattern of 3E sustainable development for evaluation of the status of the 3E sustainable development. Using knowledge discovery theory the whole system builds a knowledge discovery model and finds the interaction of the index relationship. It is necessary to build an appropriate evaluation model for making predictions and precautions. This system realizes knowledge discovery model on 3E study which could provide theoretical basis and decision support for government.

Abstract: By modeling for the energy conservation and pollutants emission reduction of subway, the paper takes the subway as an electricity-replacing-oil strategy .Compared with the road oil consumption transportation, subway proves to be efficient in energy saving and environmental protection. It also has a large potential in further improvement.

Abstract: With the introduction of clean development mechanism (CDM), people focus on finding the possibility of using CDM in many sectors recently. This paper presents a brief potential capacity of renewable energy for CDM in China. It analyses the current situation in renewable energy and concludes that there are a variety of possible potential, mainly in the areas of wind power, small hydropower, solar photovoltaic, biomass energy and coal-bed methane. From these different aspects, this paper discusses the potential for alleviation of climate change in corresponding areas separately. It also underlines the role of the CDM in reducing CO2 emission, which is good for the environment in global climate change.

Abstract: Wind power and solar energy power are clean, abundant and renewable. Wind power and photovoltaic power are important alternative energy in the world, which will contribute to adjusting energy structures and protecting environments. The genetic algorithm has the characteristics of automatic optimization and approaches the simulate stuff illimitably. Also, there has no use for accurate model on questions, which is very suitable in the non-linear system. The wind/photovoltaic hybrid systems consist with wind power generation units, photovoltaic matrix, storage battery, diesel engine and data collection and control. This paper optimized the wind/photovoltaic hybrid system using genetic algorithm. The result showed the efficiency of this algorithm in the design of this kind of non-linear system. On the other hand, this hybrid system is strongly non-linear when is running. Finally, abundant operating expenses and maintains expenses will be saved by using genetic algorithm in its dynamic management according to the change of load, wind power and irradiation.

Abstract: Cost-effectiveness analysis model is established in this paper to examine the influence of the incorporation of wind power to the whole power supply system. Thermal power plants are used as the backup for wind power due to its intermittence, which will increase the coal consumption so that lower the profit of the thermal power plants. A further optimization model is also established to work out the profit of both the power plants and the grid after the incorporation of wind power, and the influence on the CO2 emission as well. It came to the conclusion that although the cost of coal-fired power plants increases because of offering back up to the wind power, CO2 emission from the generation side will decline which has the environmental benefit.

Abstract: The development of new energy materials offers a solid foundation for the expansion of renewable and other clean energy such as onshore/offshore wind energy, solar energy, biomass and nuclear energy. With the rapid growth of the installed capacity of these clean energy types, it is urgent to further improve the generation dispatch mode to guarantee the grid connection. An energy-saving generation dispatch model is established to find out the optimal unit commitment of thermal power and other clean power, with a consideration of carbon emission limitation.

Abstract: Generation permits trade plays a key role in the economic generation dispatch. The application of new energy materials has a positive influence on the generation fuel mix, which offers cleaner power option for generation permits trade. An optimization model on generation permits trade is established to promote the development of renewable energy and the lowest generation cost of a certain unit commitment. Power demand, ramp-up limit, real power of a unit, new energy materials, and a certain emission limit are applied as the constraints of the model. The process of generation permits trade is a cooperative game. An optimized profit allocation model is also established using Shapley value to effectively allocate the profits among the units participating in the generation permits trade.

Abstract: With the gradual deepening of electricity market reform, electric power industry has not completely in accordance with the annual consolidated planning to organize the operation and development, but more and more by the macro-economic environment, the coal market fluctuations and other factors. This requires that power enterprise groups in the process of planning and controlling market boundaries to assess the scheme under various boundary conditions of the market. Presented a comprehensive plan of electric power Enterprise assessment method, according to the changing market environment, an amendment to the selected indicators, adjust the index value, so as to better meet corporate management target.

Abstract: The rapid development of national economy has brought serious environmental pollution problems. The issue of emission reduction has become one of the most important missions in China. As one of the largest sources of energy consumption and pollution emission, the power generation industry plays an important role in the problem of emission reduction. According to Chinese actual conditions, this study takes into account the inter-regional difference between the tasks of environmental emission reduction and the corresponding costs due to various factors, and proposes an inter-regional power-generation economic exchange analysis model under environmental constraints. The model integrates the environmental constraints, as well as the transmission costs and transmission lines constraints, and provides the results of optimal exchange combinations. The analysis of an example indicates that the inter-regional economic power exchange can maximize inter-regional advantages and minimize the costs of economic dispatch, which requires a sound transmission system and transmission pricing system.
