Abstract: Ethernet based on TCP/IP is a standard open network, which promotes the development of data acquisition in the direction of network. Data acquisition and processing systems connected by Ethernet make the data acquisition terminals (lower computer) and processing control center (upper computer) from integrated to discrete. Separate data acquisition terminals can realize miniaturization and modularization and increase the flexibility of the application. A new type, low cost, high precision data acquisition terminal based on ARM processor was designed for solving the problem of complicated structure, big volume and high cost of traditional data acquisition system. Combined with the technologies of network communication, a data acquisition PC system based on virtual instrument technology was designed by LabVIEW.

Abstract: In order to achieve higher precision, reliability and stability, lower cost and power consumption, friendly user interface and network functions, loss-in-weight weighing Controller based on ARM9 and Windows CE is designed for controlling dynamic real time batching equipment. This paper first introduces the working principle and architecture of the embedded Controller, then explains hardware system component and design of software system of the Controller, developed on Platform Builder 5.0. The paper pays more attention on the application layer development. Subfuctions of application software are introduced and working flow chart of main modules is given. Double incremental PID algorithm used by the system is presented to achieve the highest accuracy in the shortest possible time. The high precision 0.1% can be achieved, and Controller products are widely used in the metallurgy, chemical industry.

Abstract: The magneto-rheological (MR) vibration reduction control technology is studied and a design and implementation of an automobile MR vibration reduction control system based on ARM9 is given in this paper. This paper introduces the system design process of embedded controller, current driver and other hardware, system software structure. Design of real time control system can realize the multi-channel vibration signal acquisition, control algorithm, CAN communications and other functions. The simulation and experiment show that, the control system software and hardware design can meet the functional requirements and have the advantages of fast response, high control precision and working stability.

Abstract: Agricultural environment monitoring is the basic function of intelligent greenhouses, it broke through the geographical, environmental, and climate conditions on the influence of the crops, it is of great significance to the agricultural modernization and intelligentization, and promotes the development of agricultural advancement and intelligentization. Agricultural environment monitoring system based on ARM framework,PC S3C6410 is used as main control chip, running under WinCE environment, a good human-computer interface is provided; C8051F120 microcontroller as the core of its lowercompute, it acquires environment parameters in a variety of ways and adjusts on the surrounding soil and the air environment, the whole system’s good controllability can be ensured.

Abstract: Based on the requirement of reactive power compensation of the intelligent power grid, a new type of capacitor switch design is presented. Starting from the characteristics of switching devices, research on the working timing between impulse switch and thermistor, build the controller hardware system based on ARM core, implement of power system parameters’ collection, capacitor switching control and human-computer interaction, etc. The embedded LINUX operating system is proposed for a better solution to multi-task, real-time and upgrade requirements in power intelligent control. At the same time, switching algorithm based on fuzzy control theory is adopted to improve the reliability of this switch.

Abstract: Distance is usually obtained by ultrasonic wave. This research breaks the rules. Here the information of distance is got by visual range, which has been one of popular fields for many years. In this paper, the advance alarm system uses image processing technology to calculate distance between two vehicles. The system can accurately obtain distance and alarm effectively. The system is implemented by FPGA (Filed Program Gate Array), ARM and image sensor and calculate the distance through visual range technology. The simulation environment is built by HBE-SoC-EXPERT II development platform.

Abstract: This paper introduces a small negative pressure wall-climbing robot with the ARM system. It can complete the task on the surface of vertical, steep. First of all, describes the basic system structure of robot and mechanical configuration. Secondly, the mechanic analyses of robot dynamics modeling to explain the principle of its operation. Finally, an experiment tests the all common functions of the robot.

Abstract: Based on the frequency measurement principle, an embedded RLC measurement module was designed in this paper. By the RC oscillator circuit and LC three-point oscillator circuit, the R, L, C analog parameters can be converted into a digital frequency for single-chip computer processing, according to the relationship between a function of frequency and component parameters, the RLC components corresponding parameter values is calculated. Experimental results showed that the RLC module has an automatic conversion range, high precision, enabling network connections and so on. It can be applied to management and fault monitoring and forecasting power transmission lines, oil and gas pipelines and submarine cables and other important public facilities.

Abstract: Smell-Seeing Sensor Array consists of two parts. One concerns a sensitive arrays, and the other deals with image collecting and processing technologies. In this paper, a 2×2 sensor array is made by the metalloporphyrin (CuTPP、ZnTPP、NiTPP) and zinc phthalocyanine (ZnPC). Exposed in vapor of 14 different kinds of VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) at room temperature, the array appears color change. ARM-Linux system and OpenCV are used to collect and process the color change. This system could detect 14 kinds of VOCs, achieving visualization of gas sensor detection, and laying a foundation of further qualitative identification of VOCs.

Abstract: In this paper, I propose a solution for the auto-booting of baseband board, including the auto-booting of an ARM processor and the configuration of a FPGA chip. The baseband board’s FPGA chip is Xilinx’s XC6VSX475T which belongs to Virtex-6 series, the ARM processor is TI’s DM8168. ARM processor boots from nandflash, using uboot as its boot loader. I use Slave SelectMAP mode with 8-bit data bus interface as FPGA configuration mode. This paper introduces the transplantation of uboot and the FPGA configuration process with details, also analyses the result. This solution has already been used in TD-LTE TTCN extended test sets instrument, and it works well, which proves itself a practical solution.
