Abstract: This research aims to study tourism and spatial development in Mon Cham, and to identify key factors that promote and control tourism development from the beginning to the present. Originally, local people had settled in this area before it was declared as a national forest reserve area. As a result, the lands have been allocated for agricultural and residential purposes to villagers under restricted law of land use. In 2009, it was promoted as an agro-tourism attraction site. The arrival of tourists caused changes of land use from agricultural purpose to various services of tourism amenities, especially the accommodation business. Currently, there are about 100 accommodation businesses which were built in this area forming the remarkable landscape of over a hundred white dots of tents on the green cultivating hill. The analysis on development and patterns of spatial usage is presented by mapping and typological methods, using data from literature reviews, interviews, aerial photos, official news reports, and observation surveys to describe land use and related factors which were impacted to tourism development, including physical, political, economic, and social environments from the beginning of tourism development. The research found that the physical environment of nature and cultivating land were the origin of potential in tourism development. The related Acts affected interruption and control of tourism development, while Gazette No.2/2562 was interpreted as the promotion of tourism development. The conflict caused by the mentioned Acts and Gazette led to suspension of newly built accommodations in 2020.

Abstract: East Kalimantan Government had proposed to expand its tourism division, therefore Balikpapan Botanical Garden has to attract tourist to visit. Accessibility has certain degree of effect to affect visitor trip to certain area. Accessibility is a key feature to evaluating transportation system. Measuring accessibility involving how to measure distance from one point to another as the metric. Providing transport accessibility is an essential element of tourist infrastructure development. The analysis method used in this paper is buffer analysis. This method consists of identifying area surrounding geographic feature. It involving generates buffer around existing geographic feature, then identifying feature whether it locates inside or outside the boundary of the buffer. Balikpapan Botanical Garden had medium accessibility. The nearest collector street from Balikpapan Botanical Garden already have public transportation route. Hotels and Balikpapan Botanical Garden were connected via public transportation route. drawback that affect Balikpapan Botanical Garden accessibility was the distance from public transportation stop point to Balikpapan Botanical Gate may less ideal for pedestrian. The trip took about 35 minutes on foot as far as 2.8 kilometres.

Abstract: Accommodation processes are crucial for grain boundary sliding in superplasticity though few have been reported on their positive experimental evidences. The present study achieved two-dimensional grain boundary sliding in ODS ferritic steel which had elongated and aligned grain structure and got direct observations of accommodation processes without the surface effect of floating grains: 1) In Region II, diffusional accommodation was confirmed through observing the change in marking-line spacing, which indicates volume inflow and outflow at grain boundaries. 2) Between Regions II and III, dislocation accommodation inside of the mantle region, as proposed by Gifkins, was confirmed through observing curves of marking lines near grain boundaries. 3) In Region III, dislocation accommodation inside of the core region, as proposed by Ball and Hutchison, was confirmed through observing slip bands and sub-boundaries passing through a grain. It is, then, derived that superplasticity relies not on a single mechanism but on several diffusional and dislocation accommodations contributing depending on strain rate condition.

Abstract: Large scale wind power integration into the Inner Mongolia grid has brought new problems to the wind power accommodation in the present time. Key factors of the accommodation were summarized from which impact on wind power integration, including system voltage, transient and frequency stability, power relay protection, short circuit of wind power plants, power dispatch, etc. Based on the analysis of the wind power developmental characteristics in Inner Mongolia, some measures are proposed to improve the wind power accommodation ability, including the applications of distributed energy system and energy storage system to make better friendliness of wind power integration, as well as the enforcement of grid-connected operation characteristics of wind turbine and wind power dispatch levels to strengthen the security of the wind power integration.
